My parents and myself did a cross country trip from North Carolina to San Francisco back in 1978. I have wonderful memories from that time. My parents both passed at the end of 2021, both in their 90's.I think it is wonderful that you are traveling with your parents. You're making memories that you will forever treasure.

Canyonlands is very underrated. Fun fact: When I was there at an overlook, a park ranger was there. I commented that it was so quiet, just like you noticed. She told me it's actually been documented as one of the quietest places on earth. It's so empty.

Imagine how many millions of years it took for the canyons to form like that. Time, Pressure, erosion, compression. How many billions of years the earth is and how many ice ages there have been. Its so fascinating and beautiful. You could really feel the energy of the canyons from our end here as viewers. WOW!!

The story that these canyons were made from millions of years of that little river carving through the stone is ridiculous isn’t it? Any kid who’s played in the dirt with a garden hose recognizes that these canyons were made from a massive rush of water. The signs of the flood are everywhere.
@RC_Colorado2 жыл бұрын
@@yeboscrebo4451 a massive rush of water? wow, just wow. if your false claim were true then canyons would be straight and not turn at over 180° in multiple locations. maybe you should go see Canyonlands for yourself before making such idiotic statements.

mama is always a mama "please don't get any closer son" great to see you and your parents on this national parks road trip, it looks like a place John Wayne would ride by on his horse, a Prevost is usually someone's million dollar motor home, but it said Le Bus on the side, did a bunch of people get out? that looked like a vehicle when you zoomed in, as the crow flies, I wonder is those dinosaurs are an old theme area, one day I will visit this area, but really enjoyed you taking us along
