I was there and it was crazy. My wife went home the day before and I just hung out for 24hrs by my self. It wasn't supposed to be crowded but it was overwhelming. I remember at about 2:00am falling asleep in The Carousel of Progress. It was a day I'll never forget. Thanks for showing this!

I actually won one of the One More Disney Day trips when they gave away a vacation everyday from Jan 1-Feb 28 that year. I wanted to bring my son who was 3 years old at the time, but my husband didn't want to spend the money. I found out about the sweepstakes and entered every day. On the 5th day of entering, I won a trip. That was the beginning of our family's obsession with WDW. We've been maybe 15 times since.

I remember when the parks were almost empty at midnight but you could catch rides at last minutes in Fantasyland and my mom rode with us early teens on Mr Toad's Wild ride.. I don't think she ever went back. Also a girl cousin of mine tried to reach for the treasure chest jewels and got an electric shock!
