Lived on Oahu back in the 80's for 4 years. There is no sunset anywhere like a Hawaii sunset no matter which island you are on. They are stunning. I loved the shaved ice woman knew who you were lol

🌴 When we went to Aulani in September that storyteller by the fire pit was one of the best parts. He does the architecture and garden tours too. Full of knowledge and very personable.

Hey Adam, welcome to Hawaii. I live a few minutes away from the Aulani and wanted to say the little black crabs crawling on the rocks at the secret beach are called A'ama crabs. The local people eat it raw usually at parties. Enjoy your stay!!😊

My heart would melt if I got to meet OluMel in his festive attire. We love him. We have 2 different-sized stuffed animals of him. Besides Duffy, he is my favorite of Duffy's friends. The Hawaiian Railway car was really cool and unique.

I stayed next door at the Four Seasons for our Honeymoon a few years ago, which we hit up Aulani a few days as well. The dole whips are fantastic there! VERY nice hotel and the private beach and water is amazing. We plan on going back with our kids.

Love the early morning tour vibes! I just discovered in the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 that Aulani is modeled so nicely and I landed nearby, got out of the plane and walked around empty Aulani just like you did! Any simmers definitely check it out it feels so much like the real thing. Definitely one of my fav places to relax on island 🌴🏝🌊

Adam, I totally agree with you that Aulani is my favorite Disney resort and is the best Disney resort. It’s beyond beautiful. And it’s reasonably priced for what you receive. When we visit Aulani, we stay at Aulani and take advantage of all its offerings. It’s currently my favorite Disney experience.

Have so much fun! We've stayed a few times at the Four Seasons right there next to the Aulani. We've walked to the Aulani and checked it out. Staying there next year. The secret beach is a nice walk and lots of little creatures in there, just gotta make sure to wear water shoes to not cut your feet on that lava. And the shops across the way are fun, your sure to find something to buy. Very convenient! And next to the Four Seasons they have Luau events in the evening!!! Maui chips are so yummy! Hopefully you get a chance to go to the North Shore and do some fun stuff like the blow hole, Pearl Harbor, Jurassic Park, horse back riding, Dole Pineapple Maze, pick your own pearl, swim with the turtles, etc so much to do. Have so much fun with your family, Adam!!! Enjoy the on and off rain, even in the pool. It's so nice and relaxing! 😋🤗

Exquisite choice of morning observance time with your "piping hot caffeinated beverage" n the pools n grottos n palm trees backlit with Christmas lights n decor!!! GREAT idea Adam, to get up n traverse the territory in quiet n peaceful ambience!!! You are sooo TOTALLY LUCKY to be able to enjoy such an AWESOME resort hotel in your lifetime and at such a young age!!! Taking your parents, which you are ALSO LUCKY to have n to be able to take with you to enjoy Christmas with!!! I WISH I was able to do the same. They took us to vacation spots n roadside attractions n motels in our youth to enjoy as a family and it us a gift from GOD to do what you are doing this Christmas!!! If you come to England during your international travels next year, try a Chinese restaurant as the food is different to what we have in America. The “shrimp chips” you got are served in Chinese restaurants here but are called Prawn Crackers, side snack, and are yummy

What a beautiful place, was there last year for my daughter's wedding! Thanks Adam for bringing up such wonderful memories! Oh you mentioned Burt Reynolds @24:15, that would have been something to see as he passed away in 2018. Check out the Ko Olina Chapel Place of Joy at the edge of the resort, it's beautiful with lots of glass facing the ocean! Our favorite meal was the Three Course Dinner @ the Makahiki, so good! Sunset beach pics in Hawaii are so stunning!
