Many years ago my wife (then a little girl) had a brother who was stillborn brother. Fast forward to 2016 and my now wife told me about this and I asked why the child never had a tombstone. His parents never had the money at the time, both dead now, it’s 2016 I said to my wife we must get a headstone of som. Now he has a lovely metal teddy bear headstone.....no more loneliness,,,,

As a member of Find A Grave, it is sad to see all these headstones broken. The town these cemeteries are in should find funding to fix and replace there, because sooner or later it will all be lost. Thank you for the tour.

I would have thought that the family, after Elvis' success, would have had the means to move the baby to a proper burial place. I guess being in a shoe box, too much degradation of the babys' remains? It's just so sad.

Funerals in small Tennessee towns for the poor that can't pay the large sums is a form of cremation or put the body in a wooden crate and bury it on top of another grave usually a family member who was buried in the same way, One Tennessee funeral home was charging outlandish fees to families who could pay then dig the coffin up clean it then sell it again, GERALDO RIVERRIA did a tv show on the funeral home I mentioned, In one case deputies went to a funeral home while they were holding services and served papers on the deceased man and was going to take the body to the judge lucky for the family the funeral homeowners stepped in and stopped them, The deceased was being sued for 23.00 he owed to a grocery store and the judge ordered deputies to bring him in dead or alive and jail him if he didn't have the 23.00

Keep in mind the year was 1935 and during those times babies were never embalmed, pine boxes was used for burials. I'm sure that a pine box to bury a baby was the size of a shoe box.

I can barely believe that you are in Tupelo! I love, love, love Elvis. I spent hours yesterday watching and uploading videos about him onto my channel. I loved how he said that he wasn't the king, but that Jesus is the King! Three days before Elvis died, my Mom told me that she had a nightmare about Elvis. She said in her dream, she was walking to Church and had to cross a little ditch to get there. She said she looked down, and there was Elvis, "face down" in that ditch, deceased. She said she took that as a sign to pray for Elvis' soul. Three days later, our entire family was stunned that Elvis died, "face down" on the floor. :(

Bonnie Belle , WOW , that is an amazing story. People that I know are always amazed that I can remember my dreams so vividly . For a long time , I thought everyone dreamed like me , but I guess not . I can remember most of my dreams. I had a dream about Elivs not too long ago . I dreamed that I had his baby , but then it was not his baby . It ended up being mine and my husband's baby . The baby just looked like Lisa Marie. I dreamed I went up town where I live at a bank I use to work at . I dreamed Lisa Marie and some other girls I use to work with was there. Lisa Marie tells me omg...the baby does look like me !! Then I'm dreaming I am working at that bank again with Lisa Marie and Priscilla. They started being really mean to me and it hurts my feelings so I quit . That dream goes on to where I'm on this train or a ride of some kind. Then it had a wreck and all I can think of is that I have to get across that intersection to get my babies . Then these cars stop . People get out and start shooting at each other . I'm still running , because I've got to get across that intersection to my babies that were wrecked in that train . I woke up in such a panic.......!! That was the craziest dream......!!! lol !! Just thought I'd share that one with you . Hope you didn't mind !! BTW.. I like your name !!

I know this video was posted several years ago, but I really enjoyed it. Tupelo, Mississippi is also my hometown. The Elvis Presley Birthplace is in Elvis Presley Park, and our old house is a short walk away. The church that owns that cemetery is the church my dad grew up in and where my grandfather severed many years as a deacon. I've been to many services in that church and funerals in that cemetery. My dad worked at Johnnie's Drive In when he was a teenager. As a small child in the 1970s, I attended Lawhon Elementary School in East Tupelo. This is the same school Elvis had attended. Thanks for stirring up some great memories!

What I was told by people whom allowed you to enter the one room house in 1998. Was that Elvis twin was buried at night during this time period another infant child was being buried. And Elvis's father whom buried him had never returned to the burial spot for about 2 years and couldn't remember the exact location because bereft he was. So a stone was eventually placed were he thought he was buried because he still owed money on the market of the unmarked grave. I really wish I had that video and the pictures. The Elderly lady that was there was pretty knowledgeable showed me the 2 possible locations. 1 near a tree that was cut down and a roundabout clear area. Because Elvis Father didn't want to forget he was sad he couldn't remember.

Jesse was buried in a basic shoe box type coffin, it sure has since disintegrated by now with the DNA spread out in an 8 foot square by 20 feet deep (or deeper) mix of soil & DNA....THIS is the only reason Elvis didnt push harder to move his twin to Graceland or to lay with his mothers first grave site, Elvis tried every possible avenue at the time!..... With today's technology, it would be possible to exhume the bones and remove the amount of dirt to have it sifted for DNA and returned to a proper coffin, But Who is Left Alive in The Presley Family That Would Be willing To Pay The Cost for This Very Expensive Process?

I read Vernon stated he couldnt remember where he buried the baby at the family cemetery.. I always interpreted that meaning the young Vernon most likely chose a location in the nearby woods since he didn't have the money for an actual grave burial as well as coffin. No one was with him for the burial. Done quickly & quietly. Probably the way it was done more often than not back then.

Hi Adam, are you able to say how you managed to find this grave? I’m fascinated as so many people have tried but failed. As you’re a local boy to that area I though I’d ask you. Love your videos, been following you on here a while now. 🤗

The vending machines at my local grocery store still had cans of soda/pop for 50 cents until just a few weeks ago. Now they're 75 cents. I'd get one for 50 cents, but 75 cents is almost as much as it is for fountain serve at gas stations. Surprised they just didn't get rid of it.

When my mother was born in 1927 she was so small and all the Dr told her mother not to get attached she wouldn't make it through the night !! Im assuming they prepared to loose her because her brother often told me she fit in a shoe box😢 but you know what she went on to have 8 children...I'm the youngest!! 6 boys 2 girls!! Mom my often called us each other names lol and would give up and say oh come here!! She often said a wish I had a nickel for every diaper I changed!! She thought it was wrong for my sister to use disposable diapers and she refused to use anything but a ringer washing machine!! She didn't know what doing things the easy way was!! 💖 We grew up on well water and an outhouse👍 And I used these things in the 1980s when I was a teenager🤣 I loved having animals and a huge garden every summer!! Canning things with my mom for winter!! Oh what I wouldn't give to have 1 day with my parents!! 😢💓

I know someone that was very close to Elvis Presley. We sat together one Christmas Eve 2 years ago and talked about him for most of the day. Elvis looked for the spot his brother was buried. Well he paid people to look, but the scenery had changed too much and he never found him. I know the person really did know Elvis because he’s a musician and pictures of him are all over the internet and on album covers with Elvis..

You'll probably find that Elvis's brothers body will no longer be in the plot A body in a casket/coffin can fully decay within 50 years and if he was in a shoe box, he could have fully decayed even before Elvis died.

There is confusion into regards where Jessie is burried. Still to this day nobody knows, and that's a fact. That stone is not where Jessie is buried. Elvis tried in vain within his lifetime to find where his brother was buried. There are a few factors concerning the unknown whereabouts. Certainly the haste of getting the little baby buried contributed to the unknown location, Vernon his father was grieving for the loss of his son.Gladys his mother was unable to attend the burial as she was in not fit state after the birth. So yes he is buried somewhere in Priceville, but the location has never been discovered. Love the daily blogs bud, keep up the great content

I know people who are convinced that Elvis had at least one brother who lived and performed as Elvis, born a few years after Elvis himself (although I've read that Gladys had a miscarriage in the early-1940s). I think one of the names of Elvis's purported brothers is Franklin. I myself don't believe it, though.
