Agreed, although I tend to think the jacket thing was a Fascist dog whistle. If anyone isn’t familiar with this theory, please search for articles about how the message relates to Italian Fascism during the time of Mussolini. There’s even a song! I know it’s a hard sell when one considers Melania doesn’t come across as super bright, but I’m not even sure how smart she actually is. The language barrier doesn’t necessarily help, but also remember she’s been surrounded by others who may have been “in on it”. Whether it’s convincing or not is one thing, but it’s definitely interesting.
