I think there should be a vertical piece of wood at the back (behind the fans) that raises with the top which would act as a backdrop when the arcade is raised and can also hide any cables going up the the main cabinet? Or can those be routed through the legs? This build looks amazing. love the raised desk idea.

Nice! I've been drawing up plans and collecting parts for an adjustable height pedestal build that can go from sitting to stand up with a larger sized monitor on an adjustable desk mount. A minimalist type arcade machine that doesn't take up too much room. Plus with the monitor desk mount you can twist the monitor 90 degrees for those vertical screen games and pinball. Can't wait to see how a pro implements the adjustable height.

You are like an arcade Cabinet Artist. I love your videos and I love your deigns and ideas. I am in the middle of breaking down my arcade to turn it into an enternainment center so it can go with me no matter the size of the house or apt. I'm in. The idea of making it sit down will be awesome escpecially for kids and adults to able to play at the same hight. I cant wait to see the next video to see how you put everything together. and I would love to get those gun4ir but for almost $500 a gun, I'm going to have to ask that for chritsmat lol.

Question: I want to build a 6-Player arcade cabinet. Is this a bad idea? I want to be able to play games like super smash bros and minecraft dungeons arcade with multiple players at the same time. Is this feasible, or I should just stick with a 4-Player cabinet? Thanks

While I can appreciate the effort you have put into this thing, to me it's just a colossal waste of time and money. 1. most classic "arcade" games weren't designed for a 50 inch LCD monitor, they will look like garbage on that screen. 2. Who wants to set on a stool (or stand perhaps) 18 inches from that large of a screen playing modern console games for hours on end? Console games are designed to be played from a couch or a recliner on a TV down low several meters away. The ergonomics of that thing is just stupid. 3. Putting 50,000 games or whatever on it is also ridiculous. You're going to spend more time searching for what you want to play then actually playing anything. But hey, makes for a good KZbin I guess. 🤷♂️🙄
@lightgungamerru19635 ай бұрын
1)Mame games will look fine if you set normal bezels and turn on reshade. It will turn out to be just 26-28 inches. Modern Arcade Games(teknoparrot) they just require a large screen. 2) Console games in an arcade machine are just a bonus, you can take a gamepad and play at any distance, but no one will stop you. 3) It's actually very convenient to have everything in one, even if you won't run it all)
