Jeg maler akvarel, men bliver afsindigt inspireret af dine KZbin-videoer. 👍

I’ve learned so much from your videos Marie Louise and now I feel I’m getting to the point where I’m happy with painting in a more loose abstract style. I’m so enjoying it. Thank you.

Hi Marie Louise......could you please give a link to the video for the painting shown at the beginning of this video.....the one that has the pink drips going down over the golden forefront area? Just love that textural effect and would love to know how to do it...... Thank you!

Hi Kathy I'm afraid I didn't film the making of that painting - but I used the techniques in this video to achieve it. The pink color you see is actually the underpainting and the yellow is painted on top - I then sprayed with water while the yellow was still wet and that reviled the pink underneath. Hope that helps 🙂

Could you please describe the wetness of the paper, type of brushes you use, etc....as you paint? I just had a disaster and can never get my work to resemble yours in the least.🙃

In this kind of work: as if you actually dunno what to do with the paint eh, and you just experiment, but, when I did my first "paintings", I had to paint the planets, which were there already! It's harder to paint "something", which connotes the color, form and hue; it's not just guessing!!! This is why, I find it "abnornal" to paint abstract now, than when I jus started painting, but, yeah: het is een uitdaging!!! Perhaps, I will end up as an abstract painter, anyways!
