I'm not an expert but I do believe that I saw a difference in Jets QB Zach Wilson Monday night than the last time I saw him play. There is a slight chance that Wilson gleaned just enough from his time playing with and learning from a very intelligent Aaron Rodgers. I know that it's not the popular choice but I believe that if The Jets focused entirely on Wilson and not bring in one of those "retreads" he will be just fine and may just surprise.

why do all these talking heads - dan patrick, rich eisen, dan lebatard, chris sims, etc. all talk about bringing another quarterback in without ever really asking: if you were a quarterback, would you want to play behind this line? how much would it take for you to come in and take a beating?

All the street free agents and practice squad QBs are bad ideas if you're looking to replace Zach Wilson as the starter. Brisset, Dalton and the Green Lizard are possibilities if Wilson plays poorly.

Flaco had opportunities with the Jets over at least the last 2 seasons. He played some good football 2 years ago - looked like he could be a starter (as his coach famously told the press). But last year, sorry to say cause I'm a Jets fan and like Joe, he STUNK! Looked completely done and White turned out to be the best QB on the Jets roster last year when Wilson was out injured and if he hadn't gotten hurt himself, he would have finished the season as the starter even after Wilson returned and stunk up the joint.

Mark was less than outstanding but did a good job in his first 2 seasons leading a talented Jets team deep into the playoffs. But as they do, the Jets did what they always do after a couple of years of success. They just can't stand a little taste of winning - so whatever talent they had left who weren't injured and could still play was banished. By Sanchez's final season in NY, he had no weapons whatsoever - the team stunk through and through and they hired a succession of terrible head coaches after getting rid of Rex Ryan. Sanchez had no chance. The "Butt Fumble" legend is preposterous...no different than what happens to ever team on most weeks, a collision between 2 or more teammates that happens in the middle of the chaotic war zone of this savage sport. If funny body parts like butts aren't involved then the failure isn't quite as funny or get talked about to an absurd degree in later years.
