That's basically what the NFL is doing. They can't prevent him from being an analyst for Fox, but they can restrict his access so much that it makes it very difficult to do that job. @@dannyquilter8366 The NFL can absolutely tell Fox what to do when it comes to Fox covering and broadcasting their product. Especially if it would lead to a conflict of interest or a possible competitive advantage. I mean ffs they told CBS to get after Romo for the play calling that he was doing. These commentary teams of Nantz and Romo or Buck and Aikman have production meetings with coaches and players before games and go over things. There's a story about how Sean Payton let it slip to Nantz and Phil Simms how he was going to do a surprise onside kick during the Super Bowl. They go over plays they might use, when they might use them, stuff like that. And they're sworn to secrecy. There's an expectation of it. If Brady co-owned a team and was given that kind of access it could be a massive competitive advantage if the team he co-owned was playing a team that he covered and had access to.

@@Jaire-.- that makes sense to me. Why does he want to broadcast? Minority stake ownership is passive income, he can do anything he wants, go wherever he wants. Wanna take a Sunday and chill, can easily do that. Want to participate in broadcasting, hop on a manningcast. Not like he’ll ever need money, he can do one off endorsements the rest of his life. Hanes needs a new face. Just commercials of Brady spilling chowdah on his white tee and it becoming an iconic thing to do in Boston, a whole city of Afflecks walking around in chowdah shirts.
