How about a stadium ban? If you storm the floor the next home game has to be played behind closed doors.

You can storm the court after no players are on it. Having more security with a rope around the court. This ain't rocket science.

If you storm the court, the student section gets banned. What happens when a fan gets unruly? They get banned. This is no difference. These kids are charging the court to get attention. They aren’t supporting their team.

This is a simple cut and dry solution. It’s cutting off the head of the problem. This is easy. If a fan throws something on the court, the home team gets penalized. What’s the issue with this? It’s simple.

The solution is simple: You make a rule saying if fans storm the court before 20 seconds after the game has ended the home team's victory will be changed to a loss. The shot clock operator can even put 20 seconds on the clock after the final buzzer so fans know when it's appropriate to rush the court & that gives the losing team time to exit the court PS: one or two people running on the court Dan isn't storming the court

When its obviously going to be a "rushing the court" scenario (big home team win), within 3 to 4 minutes of game clock, have the winning head coach come on mic (during a timeout) and instruct fans "do not rush the court, for yours and others' safety"...heck, have the star player of home team do same...and increased security form around entire court...I think that largely takes care of it...but the school has to take the situation seriously (those two suggestions), too...sure, there will be a few knuckleheads disregarding those messages, but I believe doing those two things keeps it under control.

SOOO easy to stop it. You have minutes of video before the end of the game. You scan the video and photos. You identify the students. You say no more tickets to any school sporting events for you. It would have to be the conference to do it because no school wants to be the first to do it and look like old fuddy duddies

I like the idea of a student section ban. If you storm the court, no student section tickets next game, it happens a second time no student section for 3 games, happens again no student section for 10 games. And I don’t mean per season, I mean lifetime. You storm the court in 2024, 1 game, storm again in 2026, 3 games, etc.

Have fans ever rushed the ice at a hockey game??? I think not. Security, fines, police, arrests are not going to fix the problem. Enclose the court. It’s ridiculous as it is now how fucking close the fans are already. The coach at one recent game barely had enough room to walk up the sideline. Tired of these entitled spoiled fans.

With the technology available today there should be a way to have mandatory issuing of electronic wristbands requiring identification for all in attendance. They have to wear it to get in and out of their section. Put an electronic boundary around the court. If a wristband is detected crossing the boundary it notifies the system with the person(s) name and they are issued a $1000 fine. Make it usb and load the wristband with free music to download and maybe discounts on food. Somebody smarter than me can come up with something like this.
