Very true. Discernment is the key! You don't ever have to lie. You have a right to stay silent. When you're talking to someone who you discern as being dishonest in their intent, you still have choices. You can attempt to redirect, stay silent or just say something that is true but is not directly an answer that they want. For instance a coworker asked me about how it was working with another coworker. I simply responded, 'Oh, it's work.' And put the ball in his court. I believe Karma is real. Way too many of us measure success by material wealth. Our souls are always looking for peace. Peace can also be considered as BALANCE. You can be successful by the world’s standards and be miserable, unhappy, sad, and angry inside. Don’t be too mean and don’t be too nice. That kind of balance allows you to not get bullied and to not be taken advantage of. That’s where peace resides, in the balance of all actions and intentions. I would disagree, there are plenty of people who do things in a certain manner. Someone who runs a company has to be consistent in their ability to lead, follow, and get results. If you’re someone who can’t be trusted eventually you’ll get blacklisted by everyone around you once they figure out who you really are. Just because being dishonorable has worked for this guy doesn’t mean it should be a blueprint for how we should live our life. That’s why this world is the way it is.
