Finally, even though the story wasn't for me, I think I could enjoy listening to the Narrator (Amanda Jane) read a dictionary or telephone directory for hours. She has a great voice!

Oh thank goodness all DC'ers...newer listener here, and I HAD to comment... This gal has a great voice. Mid-range, and pleasant, while remaining strong, not at all screechy....all I can say is thanks SO much!! Honestly, she may well be the only female narrator I can listen to AND enjoy!! (don't judge now anybody, it's a brain-thing, can't tolerate certain ranges of voices) 🤷 But, whew! that's awesome! 🔥🙂🔥

Can someone explain this story to me and how it has anything to do with entities coming every 10 mil years? To me it just sounded like something sinister was drawing a select few to eachother just to kill eachother for seemingly no reason ?
@TheDarkCosmos1 Жыл бұрын
I think the author played it safe with the entities taking control of "hosts." Though we have to admit, this isn't one of our best stories :)

I generally like "The Dark Cosmos'" stories, and the narrator for this one has an AWESOME voice. However, this story just didn't do it for me. It was just too weird and incoherent. STILL, "Charlotte" creeps me out more than most other Creepypasta narrators have. At the @13:30 mark, I had the urge to burst into the room, shake "Max" awake, push "Charlotte" across the room, and tell "Max" (in my best "Dr. Who" or "Jurassic Park" imitation) to "Ruuuunnnnnnnn!!!!!" If I (like "Max) woke up to find a woman grabbing my throat, the last thing I would complain about would be the light of her laptop - I'd get the heck out of Dodge. :) Of course, then "Max" starting searching on the Dark Web for sites to "help" Charlotte and offered to drive her to a cult meeting. Both of them were nuts, but "Charlotte" was far more dangerous. Charlotte DEFINITELY needed both a psychiatrist and an exorcist. Max "just" needed an IQ upgrade ... and a different wife/girlfriend :)

@@TheDarkCosmos1 thanks for accepting my comments kindly. I REALLY DO Like Your Channel!

In addition to my possibly TLTR earlier comment, I have to ask: "Is 'Charlotte' an insane 'unreliable narrator' like those found in some horror stories by Machen or Lovecraft?" While I can usually suspend disbelief to step into even the wildest of scifi or fantasy stories, I just get the feeling that, were she a real person, it would be impossible for me to believe that ANYTHING "Charlotte" says can be trusted - I would seriously question if ANY events she describes really happened, or if ANY of the other people she describes actually existed. Finally, why is "Ava's" voice so metallic/robotic? Thanks for putting up with my questions.

How can one be half Russian and half Jew? That's like saying "half American and half Christian" or "half Saudi Arabian and half Muslim". It makes no sense.
@stannisbaratheon66372 жыл бұрын
There’s no such thing as an israeli people, so to speak, it’s either palestinian arabs or jews. It’s the same with the language jewish. It’s a people and a religion. So it makes complete sense. It’s not referring to the religion, but the people.
@ShadowCoyoteDKM2 жыл бұрын
@@stannisbaratheon6637 anyone who pretends Judaism is not a religion, when the very thing that defines Jews is that they believe they are God's chosen people, is lying. You can't have a group that his chosen by something they don't believe in. Judaism is a religion, period. Also, you have Iranian Jews, Israeli Arabs, etc. Your argument makes as little sense as the thing I was commenting about.
