An interesting story for sure. The protagonist is incredibly bright, able to catch on to things quickly and improvise his way out. ..... just to proceed to find his way back in. Would be a great introduction to a longer story about his adventures, learning about these supernatural beings and finding ways to usurp them. A new calling. That would in a way, redeem his apparent foolishness at the end of this story.

I don't know man... Are we supposed to sympathize with him just because he's an artsy type? He wasn't just foolish, he was incredibly stupid not to see all the signs that he was way over his head. Then he's making a bid anyway just for keks and giggles? He's like the kid who's kicking strangers on the bus until one of the strangers picks him up and throws him on the floor... Instant regret doesn't save you from the bruises. He should have stayed down and paid for his mistake. Wanting to sacrifice your parents isn't a short lived lapse of judgement, even if they disowned him for wanting to throw his life away. Not only they are his parents but also why would you sacrifice the people to whom you want to rub your success in the face?

He should try narrating for Audible! Lord knows they could use some talent... I've heard a couple of great ones, a couple of good, but mostly they're underwhelming. The worst have ruined books that I love. DS is my fave Creepypasta narrator, for sure!

Been a fan for a while (a year and a half or so). I just realized what separates you from other narrators. You actually make the story feel alive. The words no longer are stuck in ink, you really know how to make the experience real. Every story I hear makes me feel genuinely horrified. I've read creepypasta by myself but never felt the terror. But man, I've never felt more scared of a story in my life. First video I watched was "Ted the Caver" and man that was my gateway to addiction. The story is Abit strange when you know anything about Aztec gods but still fun nonetheless. Amazing work with the narration and editing as always Somnium!
