Was at Yokohama Arena on the floor crowd-left. Was also at one of the earliest renditions of this song, at Akasaka Blitz, 9 Jan. 2017, a show just before their 1st full album, "Just Bring It", which this song is on, came out. At Blitz they played the song toward the set's end and then its mv at the end, with Saiki’s powerstancing on some shmuck’s back drawing laughs from the crowd. Re your comparison to the Mary’s Blood song, MB’s guitarist Saki expressed admiration for Kanami's arranging skills. Those skills are such an important factor in making B-M such a good band. B-M and MB shared the bill a number of times at multi-band events on the club circuit.

That was a fun show, that day they used all the elements in the Arena to connect with the crowd, the screens, the lower platform, the upper platform and the side ways that go around the Arena, all the ladies do a fantastic job as always.

BAND-MAID, to my knowledge, doesn't block reactions of videos as long as it's from their official KZbin channel. I wouldn't worry. This was from their 10th anniversary concert last November. They played 33 songs that night. I hope someone requests "Hate?" from the same show some day. Kanami and MISA have another fun "conversation" in that one.

I really like this performance. I love the calm in it. You really feel good when you hear and see it. It makes you love the ladies. If feels big and calm. It just makes you glad you are there. Nothing complex. Nothing really stands out, except maybe the solos, that are beautiful. I will go back now and then to look at this wonderful video.

YEAH!! This 10th Anniversary Concert was an epic night for the Maids. In context of the gig...a real classic steady rocker, loved by the fans...but within that magic 3 and a half hours they range from slow acoustic ballad to absolutely tearing your face off!! A high point being Saiki's debut, as rookie pianist, doing a solo slow captivating version of 'Choose Me'...balls of steel from her made me proud as a fan. Her rollercoaster night showed in the emotion of the show's closing song 'Endless Story'...a masterclass of crown interaction and appreciation of their fans. Nice work David.

For those who have know this band for many years, the most amazing thing to me is to see how high the scenic confidence of Saiki as reached. From the shy lead singer she used to be to the fierce woman daring to come forward to the front of the stage to harangue the crowd like it is nothing.

I’m often surprised to find that even channels that regularly cover BAND-MAID haven’t yet reacted to some of their incredible songs from the past couple of years. This song on this channel was one such case (the song itself has been around for a while). But when you think about it, it just shows how steadily BAND-MAID has been putting out great videos all this time.

Another great reaction! For some reason I could have sworn you reacted to the music video for this song very early on in your Band Maid journey, but I couldn't find it so I must have misremembered. Just as well, this is definitely a song where the Live version typically blows away the studio version (not that the studio version is bad of course, but it's epic live).

David, I have a lot of respect for you as a reactor and, as a Band-Maid fan, I think your score is very fair, considering your higher scores are for songs such as ‘From Now On’. I wish there were more views from you from more recent performances such as ‘Hate?’ Because I rate this fabulous band so much and wish they had more exposure to the Western world.

Thank you. This song is like nothing I've heard from them, mostly simple and straight forward and yet so magical. It's probably Kanami's guitar.... I don't know. It has a nostalgic feel to it.

David band maid r their own LLT , they understand the power of social media n reaction channels, as long as u use their official videos, this won't get blocked , most likely the maids will see this , they recognize utubers at their shows , they saw mr. Rock n roll in dallas , so ur good po!

Higher score than I guessed by two tenths 😀 I believed you would enjoy the trading between Kanami and Misa. Saiki's confidence has grown here as she marches down the runway, all eyes on her. Miku, seemed quiet in this song both vocally and her stage presence. Maybe she wanted a rest? Glad to know you were not imediatly adding this song to your playlist. 🤣

The whole Yokohama Arena concert is a masterclass for an arena sized concert. The walkway down the middle, the oval walkway around the arena. It is obvious they planned and rehearsed the speed and the timing to make it back to the stage. The flow of the song order to bring the whole crowd to frenzy and then back down. The lighting and video timed rock solid to the beat. When they do that hard stop in Hate? and on the video wall is a puff of smoke just dissipating as they come back in, chef's kiss on production. Over 3-1/2 hours long and they made it look effortless.

There is a huge difference in the guitarist class of Miku and Misa&Kanami. That's why she doesn't participate in battles yet. But we hope that will happen soon. 🙂
