Been there BUT via Facebook, CBS Records has slapped at me for a video I went live with... My 7 yr old song WAILING on my older Strat and myself playing the solo of Yellow Ledbetter in the background... Hey CBS Records, WHAT SONG was he playing from the CBS owned material, surely the WORST damn band EVER IF his hitting open chords and random strumming was a song... It got unblocked and NO notifications until a MONTH LATER! lol I THOUGHT Pearl Jam's label hit me with a copyright at first, NOPE CBS Records, for something that doesn't even exist! lol SEVERAL of my terrain making videos have been blocked only to later have it lifted due to the content claimed to be used NOT being used illegally. NOW I do NOT play any music when I do "How To" videos, a shame.

Sorry Beyonce doesn't have to sing a cover to keep everyone's attention... Trust me we are glued to the screen no matter what Queen Bey performs.. She did the cover because that song had similarities to "If I was a boy" it's another way of paying homage to another artist while still giving off the same emotion of your own song you're performing... Beyonce is the greatest living entertainer... Second overall behind Michael..

@@californiawest5288 I have nothing against her as a person, I don't know her. Outside of her having an AMAZING and powerful voice her MUSIC is generic as hell, just like 98% of pop/dance artists are. Whatever the popular beat and melody is at the time you CAN find it in her albums, nothing is original or unique to jump her out... Soon as I hear one of her songs start I have NO clue who it is until you hear the vocals. That also translates to the production of her albums, the same formula everyone else is using at the time of recording and producing it. SOME pop acts and MANY a band have their OWN sounds, and IF they want to really stand out they WORK with the producer and engineer to get THEIR sound, not "the sound" that is popular. Let me amend the above comment... MANY bands as well since the 2000's are the same, GENERIC as hell and the same sounds all around. SUCKS ASS!

@@californiawest5288 I listen to more than just the music and vocals. I hear the engineering production of songs as well having an earlier background and trained to pick things up production wise. When you hear more than the music and singing and what goes into the song it changed your views. The same chords used and pretty much the same arrangements with slightly changed progressions, the same mic'ing techniques if a band is playing and not drum/bass machines and sampling, the same level of mixing on instruments to voice balancing, it's just a GENERIC Formula and that ruins it for me. MINUS the fact I simply do NOT like pop/dance music does not help the fact lol

@@californiawest5288 my last point.. IF you want to hear pop and being DIFFERENT while staying in the formula, EARLY Madonna and 80's/early 90's Michael Jackson... They used the popular beats around, used popular producers and engineers BUT WHEN their songs came on you KNEW that song had to be an MJ or Madonna song BECAUSE they ADDED THEIR own feel and sound into it to give originality! Sadly both sold out and went the generic way to keep selling albums and pick up younger fans
