Glad you’ve been introduced to volbeat! And I’m glad you dig them. Great review.

This is definitely in the upper tier of best Volbeat songs. The guitar solo by Rob Caggiano is one of my favorites by him. I think the song merits 4.5 stars. Volbeat and Ghost are my two favorite bands right now, so I appreciate the reaction & review.

Nice job David, i was surprised by the beginning of the song also big ending surprise. For me the best years of this genre was 80s-90s. The song is well written and eazy to follow. Eazy 4 stars.

This is probably the best song from Volbeat, and it deserves 5 stars, that's for sure.

I'm a big Volbeat fan, its difficult to say at times because his singing is very much an acquired taste. But I love that they're experimenting all the time. And I love westerns, tombstone especially, Elvis, Johnny cash, punk, heavy metal and thrash too so yeah. I love this song! Btw I love the Bufford T. Justice reference

Good album with pearl heart, Lola Montez and My Body are particular favourites also from other albums, seal the deal and let’s boogie my fav album with the devils bleeding crown, for evigt, the gates of Babylon, let it burn, seal the deal, goodbye forever and you will know and battleship chains. Heaven nor hell and still counting are also amazing from earlier albums Seen them live in Glasgow and they are awesome live actually performed with ghost last year I think which I’m annoyed I didn’t know about ghost then but knew volbeat

Probably one of my favorite tracks from the album, but the album as a whole is one of those that I rarely find myself skipping through. There’s a lot of that kind of bluegrass/country inspired feel throughout the album, and it’s done really well and is very effective. Hope to see more from this album in the future!

There's one more song from this album coming up at some point (and four others already on the channel in case you haven't seen those).

Oh I’m aware. I see David Heretic and Volbeat together, immediately watching unless I’m occupied at which point it goes to the Watch Later list.

If you want a Volbeat song with shorter intro, try ”Wait a minute my girl” 😊

Gotta be honest, I wasn't sure about this one (sorry, Ian 😅), but I'm glad it went over well. I'm also glad the intro (their longest) didn't hamper it much. The comparison to earlier metal bands is interesting, and makes sense as Michael Poulsen is a fan of some stuff from that period.
