You might check out their cover of Hank Williams’ So Lonesome I Could Cry. I know you and your beautiful wife are exploring country. It’s an interesting take on that classic with some extra verses mixed in. By the way, I absolutely love Shotgun Blues and it does have a Metallica feel as does several of their older tunes.
