Hey David! Good luck with your channel, I'll be watching. I'm sorry about the idiots who were abusive. Having gone through the list of people who have commented below on the Warning I can assure you they are legit TWA (which I also claim to be). None of them are jerks and none are fanboys (unless you include 50-60 year-olds which is what a large number of us are). The Warning's classic sound draws those of us raised on classic hard rock and these girls have thrown a lifeline to us as we are drowning in a sea of pre-packaged, auto-tune crap that the industry is churning out. Plus, these are the nicest girls you could ever hope to meet. They may become rock stars but they won't change. Don't let a few idiots put you off of a great band!

Ok David I already commented once to you, but after hearing you out, hearing that people threatened you, that has zero place amongst a large portion of The Warning fan base. People that would make comments like that towards you can go bleep themselves, they’re not true fans, I can tell you The Warning wouldn’t want you being treated that way. Those people are not “fanboys” there are something totally different and worse, a true “fanboy” would know the band would hate that kind of behavior. I’m sorry you had to deal with that. As for the rest of the fans who had some negative stuff to say, but were civil, we I think they misunderstood you. In this video you cleared it up, you explained you weren’t laughing at Ale(bassist), I really think they just thought you were making fun of them and I’d be a little ticked off at you if that was what you were doing, but you cleared things up. If I might make a suggestion, if you ever react to them again please repeat some of what you said hear, most of the fans are good people and will realize it was a misunderstanding. Heck they might even subscribe and support you. David best wishes, oh yeah I’d suggest you pause, even tho I hate it, if you don’t want copyright issues it’s best you do what you have to.

You probably won't get blocked with The Warning. As of now they own their own music and are happy to have people react to them. I still like when you pause and point things out. One thing though, after pausing back up 10-15 seconds. I know nothing about KZbin copyright rules.

Congrats!! As a person that may be addicted to reaction videos I just wanna say you're my favorite so far. Being a huge pearl jam fan I have to watch every reaction there is of them and believe me there are a great number of them. So kudos to you for being the best. Also it's really pretty pathetic that you even have to ask people to be civil. Music is subjective as are all forms of art. I personally love your breakdowns and the fact that you rank every song whether I agree with your assessment or not. You are always respectful of the artists even when you're not a fan of the song. As far as pausing, it doesnt matter to me that much. It used to bother me a little but I feel you have such a good ear that you're able to do it and still get a good perspective of the song. I attended The Warning concert at Whiskey a gogo on 1-15-2020. Great show. Met a lot of very nice people. Also met a few that seemed overly protective of the band even to the point of creepily possessive. When a band is as open and assessable as The Warning it can draw some people that aren't quite right in the head. The overwhelming majority of their fans are cool though. I enjoyed your reaction to them and hope you do more. If not then you should definitely check them out more on your own .... amazing original music and really down to earth girls/young ladies. I've been following The Warning for a couple of years now. In fact, I was at the show where they did Atlas Rise. Anyway, I just wanted to say that for the most part, the fans are really great people as is the band and their family. What you described here didn't sound like what I like to call "The Warning Way". Nah for the most part ( like 98%) the people were super cool, even a lot of the ones who didn't necessarily agree with me were cool. There were a few that weren't...and they have been dealt with. More of The Warning to come very soon.

First off let me clarify, I am very much a fan boy of The Warning. I thought your reaction was very positive. I would also say whomever was negative towards you was not a fan of The Warning. The fans of The Warning have never been negative to reactors even under negative scrutiny. You are absolutely right about that song. It is an average song done well by the girls. So sorry about the poor showing of some trolls in your channel. The sad thing is probably 100 of your new subscribers are Warning fans.

I appreciate the words of support I really do....yeah I jumped from 487 to 511 overnight....probably all The Warning fans. We'll see, I really liked the girls, I liked the showmanship and the performance and the technical prowess of the girls...those bad apples left a real sour taste in my mouth. There are many many really nice people that believe in The Warning and are supportive of those that try in anyway to show support. With that said if some think your being unfair, they will call you out, that’s not being a “fanboy”, it’s part of having a channel, it comes with the territory. Some reactors get butt hurt because they can dish it out, but can’t take it. I’m sure you know that whenever you put yourself out there the way you are with this channel, you have to expect someone to critique your performance as a reactor. Not everyone understands that, let’s say I think your way off on your reaction and I let you know, some will cry and say I’m being mean and I’m a fanboy. I’d think you’d want to know if you’re being unfair, or should I say it appears that you’re being seen as that way, maybe it’s something unintentional and you could work on it. To be I’m not saying I’ve formed an opinion either way about your channel and I think it’s only fair to give you a chance. I hope you react to The Warning again if you’re interested, if not that’s fine. Even if I don’t like your channel I’d never intentionally be cruel, I’d just move on.

Congrats on the 500 subs! Hard work pays off. Pause. Pausing is no biggie. The pausing might effect the algorithm KZbin is using to flag videos for potential copyright review, but the legal standard is whether what you are doing is fair use, which depends on how much you actually add to it in terms of analysis, commentary, and educational value etc.. of course the legal standard only matters if it ever went so far as to actually be at issue in a court, which almost never happens since few KZbin reactors ever wish to pay a lawyer to challenge how KZbin is behaving. I digress. David, I hope you don't consider any of the songs I suggest as requests. I'm happy to watch what you choose. It's your journey. I've made song suggestions when I think it's something you will really like, but no need to try to please me.

Sorry to hear of your experience with some commenters of your reaction to The Warning. I'm not even going to call them fanboys as The Warning would not support that behavior from its fanbase. This is also not how The Warning Army acts either. They are a dedicated fan base but not that kind of people but obviously there are always exceptions. It's not who they are or what they are about. I'm also a true *The Warning* fan since 2013 ( _yes, they were REALLY young back then but still blew me away_ ) and my opinion is that the *pause* question really shouldn't be up for a vote unless you are really eager to know what current viewers think. It's *YOUR* channel and if you forget *THAT* it will soon be a mainstream reaction channel of no interest. Be yourself and find subscribers who like you for what you *ARE* and not because you bend down for the majority. That said, you should always bend down for your wife. That's a totally different ball game. I subscribed to you three weeks ago and am the only one who commented on your video with your scoring system. That's how I know that the difference between 7.9 and 8.0 actually is a little bigger than some might think. I'm also responsible for suggesting you for our *"Stalkers"* 😁 Our "girls" ( _as we sometimes call the band_ ) are very happy about reactors giving their videos more views. What you think is not as important as the views but perhaps some fans think they can act mean just because you seem less important since you don't have so many viewers yet. True The Warning fans feel as bad as you about offensive posts from another The Warning fan. They make us ( _and in worst case even the band_ ) look bad. We really appreciate if you delete those posts with a short comment ( _Be nice or see your comments deleted_ ) and if you think they will never learn, block them as well.

I did a little research on the copyright problem/blocking. I’m not sure what you have or have not tried, but one of the methods I’ve heard of is the reactors plug the original video into video editing software and fiddle with the pitch. They drop the pitch two levels, finalize it, then raise the pitch a three levels. They then react to it. Supposedly, this causes the KZbin bots to not recognize the content. Again, not sure if this is a solution for your situation. Just something I learned with a bit of searching. I’m not a KZbinr. Try at your own risk...just trying to help. Love the work. Keep it up. I’m subscribed to a handful of reactors, but you’re the on,y one I make a point to watch all the shows of. You’ve created something unique in the reaction world. Don’t go changing too much. It was blocked, until I black-screened the video. Then it went through just fine. So it's the video part I gotta work out. I don't know if it's a filter....or they're messing with the opacity...or changing the screen size...I don't know. Don't worry I'm not changing the channel, I'll always be the same guy doing the same thing I've been doing.

From what I’ve heard this blocking often doesn’t originate with the source of the content but from KZbin itself. One reactor said a Warning reaction was blocked. I don’t know but am guessing KZbin doesn’t want content repacked because of their own ad system.

Firstly congrats brother on the Success!! I can’t believe I was here when u had 7 subs and now u have 500!!! Secondly, There is no place for that behaviour. Those people the discusting, the best thing is to do is to ignore and hope the KZbin do their job and monitor the comments. Finally. I would suggest that you don’t pause and continue how ur going, as long as your rewind a couple seconds before playing again. And also there is a reactor by the channel name “INFINITE MUSIC REACTIONS” Who is a good friend of mine And on some videos he has a black transparent screen over the middle of the video, and a sentence in the screen saying “KZbin copyright requirements” You could try that out. It works for him, and for the most part we can see the video.

TWA has watched all The Warning videos innumerable times so we couldn't care less if you stop the video. I LIKE it when you stop the video. I want to see your thoughts on things and it's easiest to discuss it immediately when it comes to you. If you DIDN'T stop the video I wouldn't be learning as much from you. If people are upset about your pausing they can go watch a video first and THEN come to your channel. Don't change what you're doing.

Pause. If you react to The Warning, you won’t be blocked. They own their own existing music and don’t block. They love publicity. However... pausing to give an opinion at a certain point in the video is OK. Sometimes waiting ‘till the end loses the context. This is your channel and you do it the way it works for you. Your honest opinion is valued. Disrespectful comments have no place. We, The Warning Army, value your opinion and not everything is loved by everybody. I took away from your Warning reaction that you liked them and your like increased over time as you responded to the comments.

If a video gets block make sure you have a Vimeo account and put a link in a pinned description. That is what some reactors has done. As far as The Warning,, some fans are just over zealot and those that are disrespectful are not representatives of The Warning fan base. The real fan are respectful and grateful for honest reactions and opinions. There are other that dislike The Warning all together because the band is from Mexico and they believe that The Warning are traitor for writing songs in English and not Spanish. So The Warning wrote a song in Spanish that directly addresses their grievance, its call Narcisista (kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWiscnieg5mFg68), If you want English subtitles to the song (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYnGmKGVd7ibebM). Both are the same video. I caught that you were critiquing the Metallica song and not the band, that is fair. Others took it out of context. That is reason I dropped that large list of original songs from The Warning you can pick from. I know it was a lot, but the band has a lot to offer. All you have to do is pick on. You decide they don't write bad songs. BTW Congratulations.

@@THEDavidHeretic One more thing, The Warning does not block any of the current roster of videos from their channel. But their is a good chance of copyright claims. I am do not know what will happens once their third album is publicly released. Since they have signed with Lava/Republic. They do have creative control over their music, as far as distribution control or who owns the copyright of this new album is between Lava and The Warning. I am sure during their seven months of negotiations with Lava/Republic they have some claim on those rights.

Don't pause too much, 2 or 3 pause during 3 to 4 minutes clip is fine by me. Every 20 seconds pause sometimes we will tend to loose the whole vibe of the video which will affect your reaction. Spot on reaction on the warning fans warn you about not give their band proper warning 😁. Your show, your rule, let's just request, watch and thumbs up. Congrats on 500 subs, i think I subs when it still 10 or 20 people... It will get you there...

Regarding blocked videos. Have you already tried to dipute your blocked video(s)? If not try the following... Go to one of your blocked videos, click on the link "blocked worldwide, select "I am sure that the video meets the legal requirements for fair use and I want to dispute this claim, click continue, in the comments section, copy and paste the following: Copyright Disclaimer under Section 107 of the copyright act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favour of fair use ...make sure all the boxes are checked... enter your name... click continue...click submit...if the video gets unblocked, it usually takes 3-4 days. This may not work in all cases but at least it is a quick process and certainly is worth a try!

Anyone making threats is not a fan, IMO. If The Warning heard about the hate comments and threats, they would be appalled. About the pausing, it is your channel, not the viewers.

Not to repeat too much of what has been said, but I just want to note that these hate comments are really disturbing to us in The Warning community. To be honest, some fans are too sensitive to criticism of the band (in my opinion) and I’ve urged we be as positive as possible toward reactors. But the hate comments and threats are completely intolerable and if I could I would gladly see these people prosecuted to the extent possible. Toxic fans are a big problem with a number of bands, and I hate to see this kind of thing showing up for The Warning. The band members themselves are very polite and professional, and I’m sure don’t want to see a “fan” claiming to support them by rudeness, not to mention the worse things you’ve had to deal with.

I know I'm offended if I ever hear our fans acting out like that, and I've personally reached out to critics and apologized on behalf of the entire band for rude fans. If enough people want more The Warning reactions, I'm sure I'll do more...like I always say, it's all about the Fanbase.

I am one of those "fanboys". I did see one comment that was out of line imo. Maybe their were others later. It's possible you are doing like one other reactor. He lost his sht because several people said "you have been warned". He thought he was being threatened. That is just a catch phrase. I have said a hundred times I wish they wouldn't say that to new reactors but they keep doing it. I can't imagine someone actually threatening violence so maybe you just misunderstood this? In any case, I hope you will not hold your experiences (real or perceived) against the band or tje majority of the fanbase.

Nooooooooo no no no I got that "You've Been Warned" was merely a play on the name of the band. I think it's cool personally, I dug it. Anyone with half a brain would have caught the play on the band name there. No what I'm talking about were actual threats made against myself and my family. For example...well let's see...there was "I'll punch u right in the throat if I ever see u"...then there was "I hope ur house burns down with u in it".....and my personal favorite "Your not a real musician, your a liar, and I hope you die slowly" Those were just some of the highlights...there were others. Other than their spelling being atrocious ( I mean come ON, just right click on the red underline and select the correct spelling) I really didn't appreciate their venomous spew.

My response is to call them a hack and leave. As long as a reactor is giving his honest opinion without being intentionally insulting, all is well. We all have different tastes in music. That's why there is so much on the radio I can't listen too. Once again, I hope you will consider trying some of their originals. Don't judge a fanbase by a gew bad apples. Dull Knives from the Warning Cave for De(Tour) would be a good one. It's only 3 minutes long but it's packed with rock. Cheers in any case and I hope your worst is behind you.
