Best song of the album in my opinion. That whole "Wake up!" Scream at the end of the song gives me goosebumps every time.

If Mama is war, Sleep is the PTSD. They feel like part1-part2 songs.

I think the beauty of this song is the way it sounds so gd goofy in the beginning and by the end of it everyone is like "WTF did i just listen to?! 😱😅" Its so well done.

MCR is a great band. This is How I Dissappear is a great track if you want to react to it, its from the same album.

If I had to describe this album in what word it would be "Precision". There's not a wasted lyric or note.

I think ppl dont understand mcr because they don’t realize the success is because of Gerard’s pure passion. Gerard would be doing this on a street corner for quarters. Every time he sings is pure passion it doesn’t matter that he performed it 100 times. Also mama is one of my favorite songs of all time .

Watching them preform this during the height of their Parade and Danger Days era back then was MADNESS pure MADNESS i tell you.

The love I have for MCR surpasses my own understanding, I just found your reactions and just wanted to say thank you lol. Mama, specifically, is such an iconic song for them and doesn't get recognition it deserves simply just because its kind of niche but sometimes I wish they'd put it on radio and see what happens lol. You need a sea shanty? You need a weird waltz in the middle of a post-rock weird-metal rock opera? You need something that has canons and sirens? And Liza Minnelli? Lol its literally audaciously good. I have never heard anything like it since. I honestly kind of hope we never do, lol

A lot of strong structure and melody on this album was inspired heavily from Queen, particularly this song.
