There's such cognitive dissonance on Progressivism. Imagine trying to blame progressive ideas despite progressive ideas being continually ignored or demonized by both republicans AND democrats. Progressive ideas are obviously not to blame since no one is actually trying to implement them other than Bernie, and even social progressive ideas aren't even espoused by ANY mainstream politician if any politician at all. The ACTUAL reality is that most progressive ideas are supported by the majority of the general populace but since those ideas often come at the expense of the powerful, the mainstream media (which is what most regular people pay attention to) are then paid to run hit piece after hit piece against it causing some people to have this mindset as if there's any real movement of these issues. If the Democratic Party stood by its promotions we would have some kind black reformation and legal expedited system of migration in areas that need workers to keep necessary industry from collapsing. At the same time we need to invest in new technologies while servicing less of the donor class, not more. Technologies upset existing industries on both sides.
