Pretty sure at 29:00, you have to reveal a dark or else discard your whole hand when Lancea is chained to Allure.

@@TrifGamingYou have to reveal the dark monster if you chain lancea or imperial iron wall to allure, you can search for allure vs lancea if you want to find the official ruling for it on the web.

@TrifGaming I looked it up. If Lancea or Imperial Iron Wall is chained to Allure of Darkness, you draw 2 cards, then reveal a dark monster. If no dark monster is revealed, you discard your whole hand.

This is like the 2nd or 3rd day I played ryzeal lol. There's a shit ton of misplays from my side, I saw them as I was making them. The incorrect handtrapping was just dumb, no excuses. I'm gonna steal Triff's idea though it's lowkey the answer to the next format.

the thrust+multiple dbarrier is the same idea i had cause it can be another copy of dbarrier but if u have dbarrier u can set a maliss trap or get talents instead

When lancea is chained to allure, you still have to reveal a dark otherwise the discard your hand condition comes into place

You set one before alluring so that you can bluff a trap when the maliss monster is summoned on a new chain. You wont be able to set a trap to dodge stuff on the new chain.

I think the Ryzeal player was respecting the fact that triffs list was using the striker and board breaker a little too much. Which is why he thought ending bagooska good idea. Also not sold on desires in Maliss but is interesting

I respect that he was trying something different after the first few matches didnt go well. He is a good player. Also I really like desires, highly advise trying it even in hand trap builds, but ESPECIALLY in my breaker build

I like ryzeal. I like mid range decks. But i dont wanna play a deck that loses SO hard to d barrier. I mean at least with purrely and centurion you can make S:P and you MIGHT have a chance.

Also loses to the side deck extremely hard. I think its good but these factors will keep it in check. Too many strong outs especially once we move to breakers

Yeah Ryzeal is very good but just like previous decks, its hard to tell if it will truly be best deck like in ocg because there are so many factors in play. Like maxx c existing means maliss is a bit worse yet its still second best deck. We dont have that. Yubel, fiendsmith piles and fire are still very good also

He's supposed to discard if he doesn't have a dark when he goes for allure and opponent chains lancea. There is a ygorganization article that has this ruling but I'm not sure if my comment will get blocked if i include that article
