It's totally free and we are encouraged to offer it to people with dogs but are just as happy to give you one for your kiddos 😊. My hubby and I sometimes go to Jason's Deli (in Texas) and split a great fresh meal with leftovers for about $15. We order a large BBQ baked potato cut in half (they will put it on separate plates) and a 1 trip salad bar (a chilled bowl that we load up with our favorite salad goodies and jalapenos for the BBQ), and two ice waters. We put lemon in our water, ask for an extra small bowl for dressing, use the provided small plates for complimentary gingerbread muffins and garlic toast, then have dessert of chocolate or vanilla soft serve ice cream sprinkled with nuts from the salad bar. We end up taking a large part of the salad and potato home for a nice supper later.

Wow, super great hacks, Matt!! My husband and I are seniors and don't eat nearly as much as we used to as "kids." We almost always split a meal whether it's fast food or in a restaurant. The Single Cheese at Wendy's uses their larger burger patty (officially a 4 ounce patty). The Double Stack uses the smaller patty used in the Junior burgers (officially a 1.78 ounce patty). So you're not getting an extra patty with the DoubleStack. Your deal still works though because you're getting the same amount of meat (roughly) and toppings in both, but the bun and patties on the DoubleStack are smaller.

Hey Matt, don't throw out those Burger King coupons. Even if they've expired, most employees will still accept the coupons. Last I checked, they never change the codes. And on the app, just screenshot the code. Don't know if things have changed, but it's been true for years. Bonus tip: when using the paper coupon, ask if you can have it back when they're done. At my old BK, they just threw out the coupons.

Matt, I have a hack for you... At Culver's just like the ones you talked about in the video get the kids meal. Same size fries. Same size burger but smaller drink with their kids meal. You get a free scoop or chocolate or vanilla custard for free and it's like $6.19 by me. I'm starting to buy that for myself. It's perfect portion you don't overeat which we tend to do with bigger sizes and get free dessert. And they're custard's amazing and if you get it to go sometimes they don't take that free scoop of ice cream off your bag. Then you get another free scoop of ice cream ta-da!!!!! Not fast food, but the burgers in the kids meals at Applebees are the same size as the adult ones, or at least look the same. When I get it for carry out sometimes the fries are the same amount too, but it varies depending on who packs it I guess. I have four kids, but often only get two or three meals because it’s so much food. Plus you get a little drink with the kids meals. Obviously this is only a hack that will work with to go orders. Thanks for all the tips!
@mandybrown80022 жыл бұрын
These are some great hacks that I definitely plan to use! I am a big user of the receipt surveys & app freebies. I think what's most mind boggling is why places are giving kids the exact same size serving as a full grown adult. Granted a lot of kids won't eat it all, but at the same time, it's no wonder that weight is a growing problem with today's adolescents.

As I sat waiting for his return he reappeared only to tell me that he needed a Costco Membership Card to buy food. I gave him mine and he was able to purchase our lunch. They didn't ask him whose card it was or for ID, but he had to have a Costco Membership card to purchase our lunch. Just wanted to let you know that bit of info. This was a fun video. Thanks! Have a great week! :-)

Dominos has a similar deal right now in some locations. Check for coupons on the website. A large pizza (14") with three toppings is $7.99. Even their recent half price promotion with the same pizza and toppings cost more. There is a choice of several crust types. If you want to reduce carbs, their thin crisp crust helps. The Brooklyn style is somewhere in between that and the regular hand tossed. Their pizza has improved over the years. It is online order and carry out only.

You don't get more protein with the double stack vs the single. The single is a 1/4lb patty and the double stack uses the smaller patties and even with 2 is slightly less meat. Yes, it's cheaper, but so is ordering a Sirloin vs a T-Bone. It's not the same. Also, good luck getting free refills using the drive-thru when every fast food chain in your area is still not allowing dine-in options.

To add onto your subway deal.. most of the time the "buy one get one free footlong" is only available through their app. If you have a big family or with a large party of people.. the app will only let you apply this discount for 1 sub, so adding 4 will NOT discount 2 of them. The trick is simply to make separate orders of two subs (buying one, getting the other free) and repeat for however many people you're feeding 👍 You can use the same account and name as well. I do this when the deal pops up. I make three orders of two subs for a total of 6 subs but only paying for 3 😊

At our Costco, the food court is outside, so it was very easy for non-members to take advantage of it. Several Costcos moved their food inside for that reason, and the entering through the exit would work. Ours is still outside, but they now have a computer station for ordering where you must scan your membership card to order. You then receive a receipt with a number and wait for your number to be called. No more waiting in line at the window, and no more paying with cash, but it does effectively keep non-members from being able to buy food.

The Chick-Fil-A one is actually pretty good. Combine that with an additional Entree and you got yourself a filling meal that is cheaper than all the items alone or even two entrees.

Actually at more and more Costco's they are asking for a membership card. At two that are closer to me ask for a card, but the Costco by my son doesn't ask for your card

Swap the bun for a premium one at Wendy's. The basic bun is nasty but the premium one is quite good.

At ALL fast food restaurants, if you want your fries fresh, just order without salt (do this at the beginning of your order & ask that they start preparing before you finish your order); you can always add salt. This is a trick that I learned from my dad, whose diet prohibited salt.

Frings @ Burger King?! Flipping’ GENIUS! I am soooo doing this next time and my teenage son will also love this. Thanks again Matt, awesome, as usual! You’re the BEST!

For costco, the food court is open to members only at some locations. In southern California, this seems to be the case for the ones I've been to.

Awesome hacks. Thank you! The kid's meal hack can work in regular restaurants, too - and may come with healthy options, like fruit, you can't/won't get with the adult version. And costs less.

Thank you Mr. deal Guy! I just had a Wendy's double stack with lettuce and tomato and had them add mustard and mayo and paid $3.49 for it after tax. It was just one slice of tomato and one leaf of lettuce but they didn't charge me anything for them.very nice! Can't wait to try others on the list.

My favorite coupon in the world is from Burger King. It’s 2 bacon cheeseburgers medium fry and medium drink for $4. It’s almost $10 to order a whopper fry and drink but the coupon gives it for $4. Those coupons you get in the mail are very worth it if you are lucky enough to get them

I have to agree with you on the Costco Hotdogs. They are SO delicious I now buy the Kirkland brand hot dogs for $14 and you get 14 1/4 lb hot dogs in the package. I freeze part of the hot dogs and then enjoy them at home whenever I am feeling like a Costco Hot dog. When I go on Costco Hauls I always grab one from the food court as well. So worth it and so good.

At Canes, the Caniac only comes with one toast. You can get a second one for about a $1. Plus, ALWAYS get the toast Buttered On Both sides. Ask for BOB the Toast. Trust me.

I visited a Costco on the weekend and did walk to the Exit side as I have done before and the Rep asked for my Costco card. I explained that I never was asked before, she said it was something new. You now have to be a member to go to their food court.

You can pay with cash at the food court. You can get in without a membership if you go to use the pharmacy or the eyeglass place. Most large cities don’t allow stores like Costco to not allow people to use the pharmacy.

The Sams/Costco no membership food court hack may have mixed results. It depends on if there is a person (usually a receipt checker) at the exit. If so, they will likely tell you that you can't go in the exit.

I've been loving that the Wendy's app lets you apply offers (coupons) + points you've earned for a free item in the same order, not to mention adding tomato, lettuce, onion etc is free.
