If the domain has your name - no matter where I'm coming from - I expect to see that person on the Home page and definitely on the About page. Mainly because that's the person I will be working with (or their team) and would be expecting a personal connection. Although, I don't feel your current photo gives off a warm, friendly vibe like your videos. You look annoyed and was surprised you used it. Other than that, it's a great design.

I disected your website word by word and structured my own page according to yours. And, I love your picture. I think you nailed it, because we go to your website because you are you. I want to see Wes, that is your most powerful diferentiator. #groupiehere

I think that makes sense Wes. In my case, it's hard to find stock images of people playing Role Playing Games so I grabbed the best ones I could find... But stock images are often limited.

Good video Wes. Thanks. I have a question 🙋🏻‍♂️. I have a small service business and have been dealing with slow site speed and narrowed it down to my web host. What is a hosting plan/provider do you recommend that is cost effective and fast for a 15-20 page/post Wordpress site using fairly moderate to complex gravity forms

Why not use both? Leave the well-chosen header photo in the header, but add a thumbnail picture of yourself in the upper left-hand corner of the Article. Would that be too boring and monotonous for every article page to have a thumbnail photo in that position?
