Sarai ramro show banaunu bhaecha, Nepali aadhunik sangeet ka pioneer shraddheya gopal yonzan ko vishaya ma. I came across him in 2048; very close. I was one of the contestants of first Narayan Gopal Sangeet Prativa competition program. I was also one of the 24 finalists out of 80 plus applications. He conducted by himself voice tests of all contestants at Music Nepal studio back then, twice to choose finalists. So he was just across the control room from the studio, “Ke geet gauna lagyau Aaja Babu, ko ho rachana kar, sangeet kaar, la ramro sanga gau, ... all those, I can’t believe how that went well. And the Program went well at Rastriya Naach Ghar, despite not earning trophies, I watched him very closely how he is working hard for that show, so much dedication. I know, follows, sing all those eminent and rare songs of Gopal Yonzan that Renchin Ma’am and Srijana is talking about. It will be an opportunity for all Nepali people to contribute financially and with other means to contribute for this national treasure’s cause. I am definitely in for fund raising program to do something on this cause. Long Live Gopal Yonzan and his music.

For some reason I got to listen to this interview only now but am much happy to learn facts and figures from Rinchin madam and her daughter Srijana bahini. One of the surprise for me is to find out there were no issues between Narayan Gopal and Gopal Yonjon and their families. Nevertheless, truth will prevail. I would like to go into this archive as soon as available but do not really know the process yet. Nepali mentality is the product of twist and turns of Rana reign, then what followed next and the people just beginning to wake up to the world around them. I can understand Rinchin madam and Srijana's furore and can relate to it.
