I watched the beginning of your video and I chuckled to myself as you said “oh it doesn’t look that bad, folks seem to be getting around without a problem on the boda-boda….hahaha…Kampala is in no way calm…if you’ve never been there YOU have to experience it first hand…the boda-boda traffic in my opinion is one of the main things that makes Kampala chaotic…we won’t mention all the folks…😂….my husband is Ugandan and I’m American and during my stay in Uganda I always preferred to remain in the village outside of Entebbe cause I couldn’t handle too much of that craziness in Kampala 😊

Webale = usually to thank a person who had given you services or help of any kind. Neyanzizza = when you thank someone who have given you something physical. Like a present, souvenir, something to eat or drink. Cash and so on. But some words are so complex that you can use them in a thousand ways to mean different things.
@Kiriza22
@Kiriza22 Жыл бұрын
Webale is more casual. It’s like thanks for small things. Neyanzizza emphasizes the thank you. But webale nnyo means thank you very much. It can be used for objects too. Neyanzizza is used more when you are recieving something in real time. If you are thanking for something received in the past, then Neyanzizza is not appropriate. Webale nnyo, is better.

Don't want to politicise your lovely channel. This video has clearly shown Africa can manufacture or process her very own natural resources and sell to the rest of the world! The bee keeper and chocolate maker are proof of that. Why go Switzerland when We can get chocolate from Uganda directly.

@ 15:36 The guy who was handling the bees is most likely Somali haha, there are a lot of Somalis living in Uganda due to the conflict back home. When he referred to the pattern utilized by bees and how architects label it the most efficient shape, he said "subhanallah" which is a phrase commonly used by Muslims to exalt The Creator and bring to mind His perfection. It's often used when one is amazed or fascinated by anything we might come across in this life.
@AliAsadMo

Oh come on. He didn't say he's from somalia. He can be from Ethiopia or Kenya or Somaliland. Not every ethnic somali is from somalia 😏 Get some knowledge. Even the owner of the channel, Adventure Singh is Kenyan not Pakistani or Indian.
@SammyDwayne
@SammyDwayne Жыл бұрын
@@AliAsadMo Yes Adventure Singh is Kenyan. We have a lot Kenyans who are Arabs and doesn't mean they are not Kenyan. We have Maasai, Luo, Makonde in Kenya and Tanzania doesn't mean one tribe must be in one country alone

@@SammyDwayne I agree! Like I am somali ethnicity but my ancestral home country is Kenya. We different from those who came to Kenya as refugees. We are not visitors in Kenya. Even the Oromo are in Ethiopia and Kenya doesn't mean they must be from one country alone

@@abukitten but you were insinuating that he was among refugees who fled to Uganda because of war in somalia. He might not even be somali. Also, most somalis live in Kenya both as ancestral land owners and as refugees or descendants of refugees

If you always look for presentation when it comes to food and your DNA leads you to Ghana for your ancestry, then you might be from the central region where they are always concerned with the presentation and the taste when it comes to food.

Hi there, I feel like he didn't show you the real Kampala, the city has regions, surbubs and urban open spaces, parks and it's very green. He was interested in a Mosque, yes but there're Churches, Carthedrals and temples of over 100 years and culture of the people, very rich African history. Did you know that the "C" section in the army was started by a great kingdom in western Uganda called Kabalega while fighting colonialism? The hotels and resorts that the city offers: Speke resort Munyonyo, common wealth resorts, apartments, beaches on Lake Victoria, the Serena hotels and resorts, Google or use trip advisor, you will see and experience a lot than what he has just presented in this video. I'm Ugandan living in London, UK 🇬🇧. It's just another view or a lens/ spectacle from his, it wasn't bad but if you only knew that, the appetite to like to know more of Uganda lessens!! There're good projects going on to try and alleviate the problem of jam like the Kampala northern bypass already completed, the Kampala flyover project, nearing completion, express high ways, like Kampala-jinja express way, Entebbe express way etc. I love Uganda and love Africa more. Love, peace and Unity. Pan-Africansm.

I find his videos to be helpful to the AAs who want to visit or reside in one of SA big cities. The more interesting video is, cost of living in SA.
