GREAT stuff as always, Bear. I'll never say a bad word about Snap-On, as I made my living as a salt water marine mechanic for over 20 years with them. But that was from the mid-80's--mid 2000's. My GOD have they become STUPID expensive!! I just picked up the newest Snap-On flier today, and saw a 12 piece 3/8" drive TORX socket set. $425!!!!!!!!!!! That is INSANE!! I bought a LEXIVON (10 piece set) from of Amazon two years ago for 20 bucks, and have used the hell out of it with zero problems. I'm fairly certain those are made in the same factories as the Pittsburgh sets at HF. I also have many, many Pittsburgh items in my home shop today and all have been as advertised.

Lately, HF have been putting restock on certain items - I had them hit me with it twice in the last couple of months - it was a pressure washer one trip, and a little 1/3hp air compressor - both were subject to restocking fees and they made a point of saying it. I wasn't and am not planning on returning either, but still... slight change in their tune of late. Also, both of them were at the cheapest price point I'd seen in a long time, which is why I bought them then... even so.

Usually the "carts" they mean are the tool carts like the US General. In the past the lifting carts could have the coupon applied. Remember you can always test it online before going in the store.

im all milwaukee power tools right now but im liking the idea of 5year warranty for hercules so i went into my local Harbor Freight looking at the hercules grinder i see that they have a deal buy any 2 of these tools for $119 and it listed the herc grinder !! and a 8 AH battery now i have no hercules tools so i need to buy a charger but ok this deal would have gotten me into there tool line BUT !! it listed slider switch ONLY grinder not the paddle switch so i went strait to the store manager and asked since both grinders are the same exact price if he could sub me the paddle switch his answer was absolutely not there very specific. i said i know i read the add thats why im asking id be willing to get into the tool line but hate the slider switch still so no ... welp there loss they had there chance poor decision by the store manager as he must not of had much training in customer service . When you compare Craftsman vs US General 26" boxes, are you comparing against the newer 2000 series with full pull drawers and other upgrades,? From your previous video you listed the CMST22752RB, which was replaced with the CMST98268RB.

All of them. I've looked at their "new design from the ground up" 2k series and I think they are full of it. They are still using sheet metal screw for everthing, it's still rickety as all heck. I can't tell what they "made better" at all.

Yeah it's nice and all...but somehow the thing I want is almost never on sale when I need it...which in this case is the roll cab tool storage. Specifically the 72"/73" US General, or Icon. Yes I know about the scratch and dent, but those dissappear faster than you can find them...they're basically a myth as far as I'm concerned. It's not like they never go on sale either, it's just you need to wait almost a year for one, and hope it lands same time your budget allows for the purchase.
