But the biggest fact is despite all that you said....our organisations that have to run independent of the central government (like the Supreme court and Election commision) were running independent of the government. The moment these bodies come under the goverment's control (like they are under bjp and Modi's control right now).....that's not democracy....it becomes dictatorship. No other Prime Minister before Modi was as power hungry as Modi....and that is a red flag that should send shivers down anyone's spine if they really love their freedom of being in a democracy. Dictators don't fail like this. ARMY --> The Modi government has modernized and strengthened the army no doubt, but there is still a lot more to do. POLICE --> There is not much for the central gov. to do here. Mostly state gov. mentains Police. INFRASTRUCTURE --> There has been massive development in the Road Networks all over India, the government is also making good progress on the Railways, but it just cleared the backlog of the past, a lot more is expected. INVESTMENT & EMPLOYMENT --> The government is attracting record amounts of Foreign Investments by making a better environment for business, which should generate employment but not much changes has happened yet. So the efforts of the government is not enough. EDUCATION & HEALTHCARE --> The government has made on paper reforms in the educational domain, execution is yet to happen and a little improvement on Healthcare. FREEDOM & DEMOCRACY --> Is your free speech restricted? Are you not allowed to do something that is allowed in democracy? I don't see anything wrong at all. I and you are allowed to do anything democratic. Yes opposition leaders are being arrested, bank accounts are being freezed, BUT THERE ARE CONCRETE REASONS FOR THAT, AND THE COURTS ARE GRANTING POLICE CUSTODY. YES TO DO IT BEFORE ELECTION IS A TACTIC OF THE GOVERNMENT. IS IT WRONG? NOOOO. R&D --> There is progress being made in space and defence, but it's not enough compared to our International competitors. We need more funding in R&D for space, defence, cyber security, medicine etc. EXTERNAL AFFAIRS --> The Modi government has made a humongous leap in this sector no doubt and we need to ensure our foreign policy does not go pre Jaishankar time. Now let's have a look at the opposition. Who will be the PM if the opposition wins? Rahul Gandhi?? Seriously?? All members of the opposition alliance keep fighting among themself from the very beginning. Will they be able to Rule the country like this?? Rahul Gandhi goes abroad and asks for foreign interference in domestic issues and politics. The Gandhi family signed a MoU with China, gifted strategic islands to Myanmar and SriLanka for their personal friendship with foreign leaders. The Congress Imposed Emergency for almost 2 years for their political benefit!! and now they dare to talk about Democracy??
