I love that you're doing the mountain thing and you're very good at that. I love always the addition of the crystals. Your descriptions are wonderful. I'm concerned because of your voice feels like it's straining and it's a little different than it has been years past so curious I hope that you're feeling well and doing OK. And thankful thankful thankful thankful I can't thank you enough for not wearing a purse and a backpack and carrying another tote bag. That was so distracting. Let's do another mountain home. Anne, I am a serious fan and honestly think you are the best designer I have seen.. but this project looked much more modern than other projects you have done and I wondered if that was client specific?

Nothing about it feels warm but it's definitely earthy, rustic & outdoorsy feeling with all the stone in the house. If that's what the client was looking for you nailed it.

I agree. It's so thoughtfully done, and clearly no expense was spared, but it has a kind of monotone, office-building feel to it. The extremely high ceilings and so many windows, while grand in a hotel or public place, make it lack a coziness that makes one comfortable in a home. I can appreciate the beautiful workmanship, though.

I can’t say how much I dislike the kitchen…..too many islands……looks bitsy and cheapens the look. The little islands just look wrong. Wrong colour, wrong texture, wrong size,,, some of the furniture choices are questionable…..the “desk”…?
