Just a heads up for the next Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator that you do. The carpet comes right out without even removing any trim pieces. I do it all the time on the three that I have, especially when Ive been in the mud.

My wife's Durango had had some sort of goo on the front bumper for quite a while that I just could not get off. It looked like tree sap or something similar. I bought a McCulloch 1385 steamer and that thing got it off in no time.

Next time you have problems with frozen up bolts, in a vehicle try Gibbs Brand Lubricant I have used it as a mechanic on vehicles in a salvage yard from removal of interior to exterior engine, exhaust. I have found this works best over PB blust and WD-40.

I've got an idea, let's make an outdoorsy vehicle, but line it with carpet, cloth seats and every other material that's the the hardest possible thing to clean! :D (really put the cry in chrysler, these guys..) Also, not sure what the other reception has been on the new audio format in the videos, but I can't say I'm the biggest fan... at least not of having it the whole video. Not sure if it's just familiarity with the previous style or what, but I just wanted to put my two cents in 🤷🏿‍♀️ I, of course, still enjoy watching the process 💛💚

In my detailing experience, the Lily Brush is great for “cheap” carpet and upholstery. However in a Jeep like this, something more aggressive like a Fur Zoff pumice stone tool would have maybe gotten the hair up faster since it’s more aggressive. However, it’s only good for large surfaces since it can damage plastics. That’s why I use both. Other than that small piece of advice, AMAZING work Mitch! 👏

I use a Lily brush for smaller areas, but I found a conical drill brush, air compressor and the vacuum make the job easier and faster. Great job on this! I just detailed a filthy Jeep last week. There are so many hard places to reach in a Jeep.

In all honesty i think aboit how much they wouldve had to travel to acumulate that much dirt its not hate its love and miles put into it. Personally if i didnt trust my vehicle 100% to get me to and from places i wouldnt drive it therefore it would not be getting dirty and would just be sitting there as a yard ornament

Great work! I’ve had several jeeps and I know how difficult they are to get clean. Remember you can always remove the carpet as well. Sometimes that makes cleaning easier.

Have you considered using a tornador first, then lily brush? I've had a few bad pet hair situations like this and it really helped lighten the load on the lily brush. Thanks for another great video Mitch!

Have you ever thought about making some type of either stationary or moveable stainless steel work surface with a built in drain? I used to own a cleaning business. Cleaned hoards that had lots of pet hair. One of the most effective hair removals was rubber (not vinyl or other gloves) gloves and a spray bottle with just water in it. Gave the upholstery or carpets a light misting, and then, using the rubber glove on my hand, rubbed the carpets in a circular motion until I had a ball of hair. I'd either pull that off or vac it off, then move on to the next area. I had tried some other "hair removal" gizmos but the rubber gloves and water method always won! 🙂

Alright, I’ve got a problem. I’ve got a ‘15 JK and I don’t know how you removed the cup holder from the center console without removing/lifting the console? There is a wiring harness to a bulb that illuminates the cupholders on the underside of the holders. Why not just remove the carpet and power wash them?

I can say one thing about that Jeep, well 2. 1. that Jeep owner looked like they used it well and had lots of fun along with man's best friend 2. You cleaned the heck out of that Jeep. So how long does your product for the plastic fenders and bumpers last? Mine are so faded and the last product I used lasted for about 3 months keeping the plastic black.

I was taught a trick a while back, if you use water in a spray bottle and just lightly 1 maybe two mists over the carpet, the hair comes out super easy. I do it when I can't get it all out the first time, and it hasn't failed me yet.

Another fab detail, Mitch! I have a question, that I don't think I've seen answered before. When a client brings you a car to detail, how long do you tell them to expect to be without their vehicle? I understand with a lot of your usual details you post it could potentially be a "drop at 8am, collect from 7pm" deal; or do you just outright tell them "this is 3 days tops" and let them know if its any sooner?

I still do not understand why Jeep (of all car brands) wouldn’t offer rubberized flooring as an option in their vehicles. The last car I’m aware of that did offer rubberized flooring was the Honda Element. And Element owners swear by them. Does anyone know why rubberized flooring fell out of favor?

Why no pressured air and Tornador combo? Tornador loosens dirt and air helps with drying. Cuts a few hours of the cleaning process.

The seats not coming out makes a big deal as to cleaning...some engineers bright idea failed in the real world as to being able to work on it. I wonder what it looked like under the hood...not pretty most likely. The end result was great as always Mitch!
