Advantages of watching your videos with my kids: the two oldest decided to clean our car today. They removed some bits of trash, vacuumed the seats and carpets, and tried to clean the interior plastics with some cleaner and cleaning cloths. They came back in and told me they had been pretending to be Detail Geeks. It wasn't 100% perfect, but pretty good for an 8 and 7 year old!

Several firsts for this channel: APC on exterior paint, chisel on carpet (a screwdriver was used for ice before), shop vac. Still only 10 hours total to get this car looking good. "Only" because everything is relative here and that was a lot of work in that time. Those reveal images are the best plug for The Yard Geek, watching that bare land become what we see here. ❤
@cgraham6 Жыл бұрын
I've recently seen other detailing channels that suggest mixing APC into your regular snow foam for routine maintenance washes. I still think that's crazy and completely unnecessary. Only in the most extreme situations like this would APC on paint be appropriate, and Mitch backs that up.

This one blew me away!!! I have a drill brush set and they ARE A LIFE CHANGER!! I have seen ground in dirt but this was measurably heavy and it's unbelievable that you were able to extract this without resorting to complete removal and a pressure washer.

So question…in cases like this, wouldn’t it be better/easier to just remove the carpeting and clean it outside the vehicle? It would allow you to vacuum out all the dirt underneath it as well. Just curious as I’ve seen other detailers do this. But awesome job! Always amazed at the results you get!

Hey Mitch? As a weekend warrior not near your level, I've always used the 25° nozzle on my pressure washer. I just realized that I had no reason TO use it versus one of the others. Can you go over that in one of your up coming videos? What the differences in the nozzles are and why you would use one over the other? Hope you do! Thanks! Also... I've seen some mud come out of cars but never with a CHISEL!!! Great job!!!

My 130k mile 2013 Accent needs some TLC & your videos are giving me the motivation & skill set to tackle the project. After working three jobs one being a dog walker and the other working in a garden my car went downhill. She hasn’t been to her full glory in some time. It’s not as bad as some of the cars you’ve cleaned but I feel like it’s up there… your APC is on my shopping list to help get my gal in tip top shape. Would you suggest any other of your products for a basic but detailed interior clean out? I was thinking one of your paint brushes, any other ideas? Thanks for the inspiration & motivation!
