I think he reads it the same way as "ratio" where the "t" has an "sh" sound. This is likely the case as he pronounces Latias' name as "Lay-she-as".

It is really telling how vastly different the Pokemon TCG is compared to YGO if you see that "Draw 3" is maybe an option in Pokemon while "Draw 2" in YGO is so busted it got banned.

Yeah because Pokémon has some kind of mana system like mtg that slows the game down while in yugioh you can play virtually everything you got in your hand with the only limitation being the one normal summon per turn, traps arent played anymore outside some specific deck because the spells are a much better option

@@misteral9045that's completely wrong, if pot of greed was unlimited decks essentially become 37 cards which increases consistency way more. Other than 60 card stall decks pot of greed would be used in every single deck.

So a bit of a correction: Imakuni was actually seen by the West in Pokémon TCG for GBC and gave out not only that card, but other special promos if you beat him. So he existed for quite awhile.

I played my final tournament during the SP era. I do not miss Luxray GL Lv.X. Luxchomp was quite insane as a deck. (i didn't quit because of the deck though). Luxray GL Lv.X is probably one of the best cards printed on pure power level for its time. The SP suite of tools meant you had answers to literally everything, as the trainer cards were busted, and you had Cyrus's Conspiracy as a much better ancestral recall to make the deck incredibly consistent. There were so many other SP pokemon that played roles in the deck that weren't mentioned. , and with 2 major variations that could win, that format was incredibly consistent, and very powerful in its own right. My friend won worlds that year with Luxchomp in the senior division in 2010, After he called me trying to get me to talk him out of playing it. I Called it quits with competitive after that, and moved over magic after that. figured it was time to move on. I called him once after my first few weeks of high school to discuss worlds, and i never talked to him again. Years later, he would get a permanent ban form Pokemon for writing articles about how to pull off clock manipulation, from what i've been told.

Yeah Jay got banned 3 different times and only the last one was for the article on clock manipulation. One was for making an obscene gesture I think and then the other was for lying to a judge about winning a regional in order to get a bye at nationals.

I was about to comment how this must be another channel by Hirumaredx but after doing some googling it's not, despite it being a carbon copy of his style. I think you might actually be right this could be AI? But then again AI wouldn't read Aggron as Argon so who knows.

@@b.morosov1182only a few videos have been ai voice, and he uses his own for it and it's only when his throat is sore and doesn't want to strain it further and always says in the title or description when he uses the AI

I have à question: cards from 2g ( neo genesis, neo revelation etc) was played in compétitive past with the cards of 1g ( like prof oak, researche comparer, or blastoise etc) or they were separated by exclusive card of neo genesis like Leo machine or Lula for restriction?
