The more society raises women’s self-perception of themselves as well as what they deserve, especially, the sense of what they can have and demand in life for themselves…? These high valued ladies will get less and less the more women gain… Men who are lesser (shorter) in value in comparison to women’s “standards” of all they want…?!? They are invisible to most women than to be used as friend zoned orbiters or vilified as as creeps or Myso-s (or only visible Post-Wall if at all). ….YES…women do gain overtime MEN…!!! But only a skewed higher (taller) sense of the man who supposedly suits their deleterious desire for a “Real Man”!!! But…that “Real Man” will NOT be found today…to serve their Trad-Com disposability! I call what is happening to women today…the Cognitive-Behavioral Obesity Effect common to people who overeat (and other consumers)…the more most obese people eat indiscriminately, enlarge their stomachs and gain weight?!? The less likely such a person feels fulfilled and less willing to eat less… …irrespective of what they really need (or limits). ….even if it means eating healthier and of greater quality (and less quantity) to lose the unnecessary and harmful weight. This man, Mr. Galloway, is right “no woman is responsible for serving a man” but all the same “no man is required today, no matter how dusty or high value he is, to invest into a Romantic commitment or thirsty prospect that is today’s woman, one which offers little to no R.O.I no matter how much she has in herself or says she can offer in an LTR!!! Think? No woman is held to what she says or even the child she bears and invested by a man- legally all she has is hers-even her child- no man owns HER nor is she made accountable to what she creates and destroys, in the same way as men are- today’s lay-dee isn’t judged harshly nor fairly along with MEN… …but placated by those like her in collusion with the State and the majority of S!MPs. I truly can say: BOYS and MEN do much better by giving up… ….giving up on their delusional search for POON and Romantic Love and putting all their M.E.A.T into a better, more well-deserved place… …on their own Peace, Quiet and Freedom… And STOP trying to chase becoming a thirsty protector and Beta-Bux provider… …to not only women and their high demands, with their often unreasonable sense of what they can really offer boys and MEN?!? …which is often nothing but fluff, chameleon thirst trappings with a good dose of baiting & switching… And boys and men do much better for themselves by renouncing all of it…!!! …Really, what does any man get long term in bettering the lives of women for what men really get from soy-iety? We are most often blamed for every problem that supposed affronts these ladies, while every heavy smite from a particular man or minor smidge of criticism or joke on the lives of these higher valued adult ladies…is ALL MEN’s FAULT…. ….these same ladies who one time said they don’t need a man until she needs one for “X”… …that is until they are tired and willing to divorce him scam the next dope! Sorry but I am the type of man today b/c I have learned to give up…to give up on all their B-S!!! ….all the bag carrying, wasteful and unnecessary spending, playing replacement delivery guy and/or substitute fix-it person… These “gimme-gimme” ladies can all high tail that self-entitlement to the place of Post-Wall tragedies! Did marriage…never will I EVER marry again… I rather die alone and NOT be burdened by the trials and tribulations of another woman and her bags of nonsensical wants and needs! As for Mr. Galloway? He is a trad-Con-doo-doo head, and a shoddy misandrist to boot…pitiful waste of an interview! LET ALL WOMEN be as risky and practical as they want- all by themselves- with their entourage of sycophantic men and pandering politicians!

I went out with some female colleagues a few weeks ago. One of them hadn't seen the other in a while and asked her about her boyfriend. Girl B mentioned she broke up with him, and girl A replied with "oh he seemed so nice". Girl B replied "yeah he was pretty much perfect: kind, handsome, successful, supportive... But I got bored with him". Girl B then mentioned she's dating a new guy who is also seemingly perfect. Girl A asks her if she thinks this new guy is "the one" and girl B replied "no, this won't last. I'm starting to get bored with this one also" and girl A replies "I get you". Both these women are in their 30s. I thought to myself, having recently been dumped, "being a perfect guy, checking all the boxes doesn't matter anymore with modern women... Why bother?". No wonder things like passport Bros exist.

It's really very simple. Never change your plans for a woman. Never break your principles. She's along for your ride if she makes the cut, not the other way round. This is the ONLY strategy that works in a 'market' where women get unending attention and therefore options while men have to beg, borrow and steal for a single date with a high value woman. Reverse the roles and ask yourself how you'd act if you were in their shoes. What would you do if you had a line of women running out of your door? Be honest and use that as your starting point.

I’m married now but when I was younger and single I often noticed a strange double standard in the way men and women spoke about the opposite sex. A woman would say “I wish I could meet a decent guy…there just aren’t any out there” and her comment would often be validated by other people…older men, women of all ages, cultural “authorities,” etc. No man would dare say “I wish I could meet a decent girl..there just aren’t any out there.” No one would validate that comment. Furthermore people would be all over him telling him to get his sh*t together and the right woman would appear.

About a decade ago when I was just out of Uni and online dating was still relatively new, a friend of mine said that the problem with it was that a guy who is a 9 will go home with a girl who is a 7, because someone to go home with is better than nobody. This leads the girl who is a 7 to believe she should be aiming for (I hesitate to use the term 'entitled to') a relationship with a 9, resulting in multiple dissapointments when the 9's drop them. He said he thought the top slice of men were cleaning up, and girls were developing an unhealthy dislike of men. I have to admit, I thought he was just someone who wasn't having much success online being bitter. Fast-forward a decade and there's a wealth of research and data to show he was onto something. For 99%+ it isn't working. Bizarre how online dating continues to grow despite this.

Everybody has known of this effect. This is why women were constantly called full of sin in the olden days. It was a direct attack on women to get them to stay in their lane with the men on their looks level and not try to get impregnated by the rich men. The priests were actually doing the men around town a favor by labeling the women as potential traitors, because they all are. "Of the woman came the beginning of sin, and through her we all die" (Eccles. 25:22).

"The key to a healthy marriage is low expectations". I would also say that you should avoid giving yourself too many options or choices. The key to painting a masterpiece is not to fool yourself into believing that you have to travel to the ends of the earth to find a scene worthy enough to paint. Many of the world's most beautiful artworks were painted just a stone's throw from the painter’s home. How often have we marvelled at a painting depicting the most mundane of subjects and be utterly moved by its simplicity. We have lost the power to be moved by simple things because we are always looking and looking for something better and not able to truly see what is in front of us. We are never satisfied.

Well, that's because it has been like that since time eternal. He explained the evolutionary aspects that women have to act like that to survive. However, a top 10% guy can choose to invest in only one family and take care of it instead of dating 100+ women. If he gives them hope that they can marry such a guys, then they will be less likely to settle down with a top 30% guy. It is an oversimplification to say that only feminism, hypergamy or female dating strategies are to blame. The whole thing is a social dilemma. If everyone tries to maximize their own situation and happiness, we will end up in a society where the most are the least happy.

OMG! So sad, and yes, 3 things, hormonal issues, gut health and a healthy expanding social life really affect a woman, particularly seeing as we're subject to 28 day hormonal cycles. I find it frustrating that Drs do little to sensibly discuss or tackle these issues. As women age they require bio-identical hormonal supplementation, especially of oestrogen. The high link between HRT and breast cancer was simply another sensationalist media beat up. Wild yam cream, oestrogen pessaries, progesterone supplementation for healthy bones, in fact, all round vitamin and mineral supplementation to counter pesticide ridden, soil depleted food, no seed oils, or pesticide sprayed wheat (as easily disrupt endocrine system). Also, the latest research shows that oestrogen supplementation greatly reduces the risk of some minor health issues like heart attack, and stroke, and can keep women living 10 years longer. Oh, and hypnosis as well as counselling. Research on Youtubiversity, could save your relationship, all best there 👍

I've got a house, good savings etc, average looking but in good shape. Can't get a date pretty much. I'm only after short term relationships really. Why would I risk my situation for an most likely unsuccessful long term relationship, the collapse of which could lead to financial ruin?. It's high risk & low reward for me ...& women have tons of options. I'd be seen as a mark to be exploited pretty much. A long term relationship with a good woman who's average looking is a relic of a bygone era...like a coal miner yearning for the mine still to be open, when everyone had a good full-time job & the community was booming. It's over for most men. We need to stop chasing the past & accept this new Instagram reality. The genie isn't going back in the bottle. Long term relationships are pretty much doomed for the vast majority of men.

The correct answer is to stop teaching our children that life is a fairytale and that prince charming isn't coming to sweep you off your feet and make your life perfect. We should be teaching them that life is difficult and you aren't going to get everything you work for. So you need to prioritize the important things and if you get the bonus things that just a bonus. We also need to teach everyone that happiness is your personal problem, if you want to be happy you have to make yourself happy. Too many people rely on their partners for their happiness.

I've never visited the US but I read about it a lot and it almost seems apocalyptic. Where I'm based in the UK, things are not quite as bad but they are definitely getting worse. I'm not a bad looking guy and I'm very well educated and successful. I look good in photos - better in fact, than real life - which should count in my favour on dating apps. But I have never matched with a woman on an app who is my intellectual and social equal. I've dated several who are, including my (now ex-) wife, but I met them all in real life, not on Hinge. For a while I thought this was a matter of age - as we get older, the pool of viable mates gets smaller - but the more I read about divorce rates and loneliness, the more I think it's the deranged logic of social media that is the cause of my and other people's woes. I think a large number of women are deluded into thinking they can bag a top 10% guy even if they're in the bottom half of their own sex. On many measures, I would be considered top 10% - the only major shortcoming I have is that I'm going bald, but in every other domain, from looks to fitness to intelligence and height (I'm just under 6 foot) I score high - but I find it very difficult to match with someone who simply interests me, let alone excites me. I get lots of single mothers, some of whom don't want kids but match with me even though I specifically state I do, and a handful of women who are, to be blunt, not in my league.

And even worse that there will always be good choices in men available no matter how long they wait. There won't be, for a bunch of different and very real reasons. People need to couple up young, stick together for the family while they're still pliable enough to grow into each other. I married at 25 and I was ALMOST a lost cause. I was already far too inflexible and unwilling to give up the life I'd built (with every thing I liked and only things I liked in it) for myself. This is the nasty part women aren't told. Mate selection preferences means they age like milk and men age like wine. It's just that by the time the wine has aged enough it has many more choices. I really feel that, if you are single and looking for a partner, you should do everything you can to meet a variety of new potential partners in person (and not online). The reason I say this is there are so many wonderful people who don't appear as wonderful when seen on a screen. You don't see a person's real personality or potential until you've spent time with them. Also, your "criteria" for who you want to be with changes as you meet and interact with others. Dating or spending time with a variety of people (even those who don't fit your current standards) really allows you to understand what makes you happy in a partner...that criteria changes with time and experiences.

Some of us are just ugly. Facial ugliness is the primary predictor of dating success for both men and women. This has been incredibly well researched. People who get lots of dates easily are more physically attractive. But that makes for a depressing story... People want their romantic lives to be a mythology, so they come up with this narrative that men go out there, accomplish a list of things, and women become attracted to them. We make a gigantic number of books and movies repeating this narrative and eventually people think it's real. To the extent that people notice the superficiality within themselves they feel it must be unique - that there must be tons of people out there that are more attracted to behavior. But there aren't. We are all strikingly similar in what we want. Certainly people care about behavior, but that comes later on in a relationship.

Damn I'm reading this thread, I'm going through your comment now you are so on the money you're practically a genius. I want to see some more on this topic because I'm afraid it sounds all to Drew and pretty much the key to it all. Good job let's start a channel exploring this topic considering everything else is just exploring the ancillary and symptoms that make great titles for books, but none of it actually gets to the core of the matter. My interest also is I have wondered can we be rewired? I mean at some point we will have a different concept or will feel differently about what was once considered maybe physically unattractive? We might need to be hardwired but at what point will we change the traction to certain characteristics that aren't really that important anymore, such as having a man that's taller and bigger and can defend you excetera excetera. However clearly being more attractive, and having the stature of what is considered the idealism of a man, the data certainly confirms that attractive people also make more money so is it just some self-perpetuating reinforcing feedback loop? We won't change? It sure will be interesting when we won't actually need physical contact with other people to have well somewhat satisfying sexual encounters or fantasies excetera

@@tonydiesel3444 I haven't seen a study taking height into account - mainly attractiveness. I imagine height has a significant influence once the man gets shorter than the average woman. But my general impression has been that short men with attractive faces do much better than tall men with ugly faces. I'd personally rather have a better looking face and be only 5 foot 7. But my face is extremely unattractive so I'm biased.

Tripling the minimum wage does nothing but raise the price floor for everything….its the equivalent of printing money and utterly ineffective on a macroeconomic scale in a term longer than a business quarter. Not really. The state simply needs to cap prices while simultaneously increasing wages. A more realistic approach would be to increase wages by 60%. Since 1970, workers of every class have consistently been denied their fair share. For instance, consider a worker earning $18 per hour, with 5$ allocated for the pension plan. In total, the cost to employ that worker ranges from $24 to $30 per hour. Meanwhile, employers charge clients anywhere from $80 to $200, depending on the industry. While workers do all the labor, employers profit from renting out that labor. Statistics reveal that the wealthy have significantly multiplied their wealth at the expense of workers. This exploitation should not be permitted by law. Moreover, this phenomenon contributes to the underconsumption principle, where restricting cash flow in lower-wage classes and erasing the middle class harms the entire economy. Unfortunately, I believe that automation and artificial intelligence will eventually lead to the complete collapse of the economy. The MIT predicted this back in the 1970s, forecasting an economic collapse by 2045. I think that massive poverty and unemployment will be the unfortunate future.

I often hear this argument on podcasts "if you want to continue to be with me, you have to have your sh¡t together." HOWEVER, being one of those rare men in this world that actually knows other men in real life, i find this argument null and void. What I've seen on more occasions than i can even remember is this... the woman wouldn't even give the guy a chance if he doesn't already have what she's looking for - OR - she'll "see" other men until he can procure what she wants him to procure. In which case, she claims that she'll stop "seeing" other men. Look, I'm not a player in this game, BUT I am blue collar and work with mostly men. This scenario I just mentioned is more common than you would think. I don't blame these guys for being upset and not wanting to participate when the woman they want is giving herself to other men until he can obtain what she wants him to obtain. And only then will she stop "dating" other men. I don't understand what's going on these days. My own son is a teenager and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to help him through his obstacles with the opposite sex because i literally never seen or experienced most of the situations he's going through. It's crazy out there these days.

I am not struggling attracting women, I am only struggling finding the right one for me. For example, at 22 I attract plenty of women my age but none want to commit cause most of them want to play and have fun with guys. Tell him to ignore these girls. I attracted women 24 and older and all I am is just physically fit not buff, serious, mature, and quiet. Just tell him to take it slow. Please also do not chase them he will only waste his time with these girls. Just tell him to live his life and improve as he gets older. They come to him over time. All he has to do is pick right and not just any girl either

Your social skills are apparently deficient. Spend more time on personal one on one interaction with women. You CAN learn. There are plenty of women out there today even on youtube, teaching men how to socialize with women. Start with Leil Lowndes' U.S.S. book, which even has pictures that will show you how women behave when they are interested in you. NO, they will never tell you. It's all unspoken body language, but learn it, memorize it, and you can cut your losses by over 90%. Because if a woman is attractive at all, she's about that likely to already have a boyfriend or husband. You can even learn how to get out of the friend zone, and 'steal' women from their boyfriends. Everyone get's complacent in relationships; if you can find a woman whose man is taking her for granted, you can carefully move in and make her see that, all the while being the available, interesting, fun guy who she sees going out a lot having a great time wherever he goes. You can do it, but it's not going to find you, YOU have to find the skills and practice, practice, practice until it's second nature. See all those guys who have women all the time? THEY know how to do it. You can learn, too. And once you do, you will have a woman whenever you want one. I'm not good looking. I'm not rich. I'm not famous. But reading everything I could about how to behave, watching the guys who are good at it, and I managed to break out of my 'friend zone'. Now, first huge tip: You don't ask them out for dates. You mention that you are going somewhere interesting/exciting, and if she'd like to come with you. A turn down isn't a refusal; she may already have plans. NOW, GO ANYWAY. Make sure you get a picture of yourself with people you meet wherever you are going, make sure you are all smiling. It shows you are fun to be with. It's called social proof; that other people like you, and maybe she will too. So if she doesn't want to go, you go anyway. Next time you see her (in a week or so), you tell her what a great time she missed. You have the pictures of your adventures as evidence of what she missed. Don't get stuck on wanting one woman. Want them all. Treat them all the same way. Be NICE. No, women don't dislke nice men. They LOVE nice men. But too many 'nice guys' make the woman make decisions. Women don't like to make decisions. They want a man to lead the relationship, and pay attention so you know if she's unhappy. So you can change what you're doing next time. Good luck.

People are not going to find love today, for the simple reason that they don't actually know what love is. If you really love someone (and this goes for both genders), you will respect them, make sacrifices for them, make their dreams yours, and love them for who they are. If you really love them, there will be no 'laundry list', no 'type', no expectation. The person you love will be a surprise, a revelation, an amazement - not what you could have predicted. Your heart will be wide open, not full of petty judgement and criticism. Your life will change and derive a meaning you never knew existed. Today's pampered narcissists have no clue, because it is all about them - their needs, their goals, their 'perfect life'. Real love doesn't work like that; it comes when you least expect it, sneakily, without stars or promises, but with total commitment, the impossibility of even looking at someone else, and the will to become a better human. I can't imagine the angry, cynical, judgemental, cruel people out there would have an inkling of what I am talking about. No, they will not find love, especially not when hunting for it, since it never comes when called... 😉

Know your partners flaws or quirks ahead of time, and make a commitment to accept them and not try to change the person if you’re going to commit to them. Choose A NICE/KIND/PATIENT GUY! Don’t allow little things to bother you. If they do bother you - get therapy! Be willing to be wrong. (If you always have to be right, you’ll never have a truly happy relationship). Also: I found prayer to work (praying for God to bring you the right person and to give you the ability to recognize that person). It brought me the most amazing man in the world!

Prayer does nothing. It's a coping mechanism for stress, that's it. It's out of your hands & in someone else's. It's to offload the task from your brain instead if thinking about it. That's why most people pray at night before bed. Meditation & knowing some things are out of your control, like finding the perfect person. They accomplish the same thing.

I have been studying this for literal years and something I've noticed that rarely EVER is mentioned is looks! A woman can be ridiculously successful financially, but if she is average looking or overweight, then she isn't going to get a successful Henry Cavill or Chris Hemsworth look alike Women think that because financial success is more attractive to them than physical beauty, men are the same, but that's just not true. NO woman struggles to find a man. It's just that they struggle to find a man they think they deserve; the same guy, 80% of the other women are also chasing. But, again if this hot, tall, successful guy can choose between the gorgeous sexy woman working at a grocery store or, the average looking slightly overweight CEO, most men are going to choose the model... Sure, he will still have sex with the average looking, successful woman, but he won't commit to her. I think the reason so much dating material avoids admitting this uncomfortable truth is because they know women won't buy it. Hope is lucrative.

@adamsinger7345 I actually don't think it's Disney's fault women act the way they do-it's men's fault. Men teach women that unrealistic expectations are acceptable, and then we get upset when women believe what we taught them! What typically happens is the average woman is a 5~6 out of 10. A man who is a 7~8 out of 10 (remember for women 1-10 is not simply about looks but an accumulation of features attractive to women such as wealth, height, status, etc. His face can simply be a 5 out of 10, but when combined with other things that trigger attraction in women, his overall value can easily be a 7), so this guy who is a 7~8 specifically hunts for women that are 5~6 because they require low effort from him while giving him her maximum effort but, their looks are still high enough for them to be passable enough for him to get an erection. If these women who are 5~6 keep being pursued by men that are 7~8 even if it's short term (he puts in enough effort to string her along to keep her hopes up thinking he will commit but he is really just doing enough to get sex from her) because the 7~8 guy never commits long-term because he is saving that for a woman who is also a 7~8. Anyway, from years of being chased by 7~8, these women who are only 5~6 started to think they themselves are also 7~8. Which is why when a man who is a 5~6 approaches them, they think they are too good for him... The Okcupid data from the book "Date-onomics" by Christian Rudder verified this. It wasn't the most attractive nor the least attractive women that receive the most attention online; It's the average women in the middle.

I'm 65 and and have been married for the last forty years. We have two children. Its discouraging for me to read this. Dating presented many challenges for my wife and I back in the 1980's. However, nothing we experienced seems to compare to what I am reading here. I could make many comments. Perhaps, the one that it is most useful is one I would direct towards those in both sexes who seem to have difficulty finding someone: Stop being quite so demanding. Men often will not admit it, but they privately have a certain threshold in terms of "good looks" that they will not go beneath in terms of dating. Its why guys developed rating scales for women where they rate them as a "6", "7", or a "10". If you're a guy and you expect a "10", you'd better be a "10" yourself. Very few guys really are. If you're a woman and you expect a guy you marry to be earning in excess of 100K a year then statistically speaking you have quite a small dating pool to pick from. Perhaps 5% of guys in their twenties are earning that much. Both sexes could stand to be less demanding and try to develop a little bit of empathy for the other. Otherwise, I predict a whole lot of unhappy people who cannot possibly meet their expectations.

and if you hadn't done that, you get too old and inflexible to grow together later. Waiting until you're in your late 20's to start thinking about marriage means that you've lived some of the most exciting and momentous times of your young adult life without them. We all laugh at how our grandparents and parents get rigid and blow up over stupid things when their routine is disturbed. But most young people fail to see that is their future as well, and that it happens slowly and incrementally as we age. You can't build a 35 year marriage in 5 years. And age matters more than people like to think. Stick it out through thick and thin, short of physical abuse, it's worth it. If there's any physical abuse from either side, bail immediately because that doesn't get better. Other than that, stick it out and frame every solution one that involves making it work with them, and making both of your lives better. I've been married going on 23 years now and it's 1,000,000% worth it. Things don't end up like you'd want, and if you get what you want 25% of the time you're doing great, but what you get in return is something so much better than any of those petty battles.

I have to take issue with Scott Galloway essentially being an apologist for female hypergamy. Here's what's happening over the last 50 years. Many of us men also to promote female equality and female economic viability and progress. Back in the old days though men were willing to date women and marry them and when they made even no money whatsoever. How have women rewarded men for their economic progress? Why is it that so many men are apologists for this? A good deal of the time women are saying men are pigs cuz they like sex or whatever but never can you say the opposite. Are women not pigs for insisting that they're men have to make more money than them even though they're making way more money than their mothers did? There's definitely a double standard there and it's not good. I am amazed at the fact that more men are not making this an issue, especially those men who are under 30 who are suffering the most. I'm going on record right now I have absolute zero and I mean absolute zero sympathy for women who are lonely because of the fact that they dare not date a man who makes less money than them or is maybe only about as tall as they are when they are not wearing high heels. Did men ever get sympathy because a man was lonely because he refused to date a woman who was not a 9+? Absolutely not and nor should a man get sympathy for being alone because he refuses to date someone less than a 9 plus. I think it's high time that we make the same statement about the way women are regarding hypergamy.

Back in the old days, women had few economic opportunities. In order to live a "good" life, they had to find a man, and her requirements were low - if he had a job and didn't abuse her, that was enough (this is still true in most developing countries). In the developed world, women have many economic opportunities, so we only marry if a man will improve our quality of life and we require a partner with emotional maturity and compatibility, etc. Men have not developed these skills as quickly as women have developed economic success, so there is a large gap between what men are providing and what women are looking for.

@6:00 Ive told my wife for years that "sex is ultimately the primary motivator for everything we do (or dont do) in life" Everything we do, can be boiled down to sex or the pursuit of it. We work, to make money, to provide, to secure sex. In that order. Almost any question you ask a man about his motivations for doing something can ultimately be brought back to sex if the follow up question to each of his answers is "but why?".

Mortgages. Mortgages lock in at a rate, lets say 1500/month at the start. No matter where inflation goes that mortgage still costs that much. Meaning for those people their single largest bill (housing) is now fixed, and the cost of everything rises hurt them, but not in their largest bill. So for them it's an inconvenience, not a catastrophe financially. Because of this, when inflation hits you have a large swath of people that are insulated from it and don't quit. This makes the labor market lag a lot in most economic strata. Mortgages are why wages lag.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I get the feeling, that many young women are seeing relationships as some kind of business venture and a booster for social status. They want to increase their worth, want to take what they can from the guy (mostly connections, but certainly also material things, maybe knowledge and experience and more … ) and move on to the next one. Observing the modern dating scene, I have more and more associations with the job market, which I find incredibly frightening. But it makes sense, considering that a whole generation of women has been told, that a career is the most important thing in life and that they're worthless without it. So why not use a relationship as a career tool, too. Something to up your social status. That's what it's all about these days, isn't it? Who cares about love and family if you can spend your life stroking your ego like a real CEO. At least, that's what they think-until they're approaching 40. Women stare at clubs, and will initiate..and quality women..like doctors, lawyers, beautiful, and with money. Ultimately, even when I have most of these things women want back home, its not quite as high as a disney prince or some other blokes and so it was almost impossible. Over in these countries, i feel like how i imagine women feel every day. The worst experiences ive had are having to reject women over here. If you are a man who is half attractive, average white man height, from a western country, you will find more success in south america or asia. And it isnt just gold diggers. I think nothing will change until family courts change.Too many young men have seen what has happened to their father, their uncles and the men in their lives. No one should financially benefit substantially from divorcing their partner in the first 10 years of marriage if they are doing the divorcing from the financial situation they were in when they married. Thats both men and women. After 10 years of marriage assets should be 50/50 split. Both men and women should have 50/50 custody through agreement or mediation and child welfare should be again mediation but based on what the child needs and not what the mother or father happens to want. Until the family court bias against men is firstly recognised and then changed substantially to where everyone getting married knows what the costs are most likely to be then I dont see men changing the road they are on which is becoming marriage avoidance. I totally get why feminism was right at the start, I totally get why the divorce courts needed to act in relation to a man just leaving his wife and children and letting them all fend for themselves but it has gone too far in favour of women and no fault divorce has been horrendous for families and children and men but quite a gain for women. As to why women might be poorer after divorce when assets have been split 50/50 and very likely 60/40 or 70/30 in her favour, perhaps they are poorer because the dont work as hard as men, they dont have the same drive and ambition as men, they dont have the same budgeting skills in general as men and these are all very broad generalities Im making but they are true. Men dont have the same intuitions as women, men dont have the same nurturing drive as women, men dont have the same patience with small children as women.... again all very broad generalities but true. But you never mentioned my point of 50/50 custody of the children and Ill tell you why thats important, I am sure that family courts give most of the custody to mothers so they can also get child support from the father to increase their income which to me is really disgusting because it means the father gets much less time with his children for the sole purpose so the mother can get more money for the purpose of the state not having to give supports to the mother. Its a rigged system for men and until that changes men should never Marry, at least in my opinion.

The real problem is that the market place is WILDLY unfair to women. They get all their value up front when they're young, and they are then told it will never fade. She won't lower her standards because she has no reason to believe anything will ever be bad for HER. Those others at 40 and lonely are just other people that have other problems. That would NEVER happen to her. Because of this blindness (which we all have when we're young) she makes poor decisions; it gets much worse if it's been reinforced her entire life that she has endless time and endless options. But it does get bad, we all age and that type of arrogance falls away. Unfortunately, by the time she realizes her value to men is fading she's already slipped very far, and everyone involved is too old and rigid to make anything but effective room mates with benefits. It's a sad story, Cap'n Junnah. They're cursed by early and free value, and the ramifications paid later are very hard. It's a sad story, and the place where mother's used to tell their daughters things like 'marry young while you're still pretty'. That's all taboo now, but the realities underpinning the advice have not changed.

Women rating each other as a 10 is a big part of the issue.

@jbennison5672 Women have multiple conversations when talking. Things they can say out loud, things they can say to family, friends, the other gender, etc.
