I feel so sorry for Mike being the target for the whole play! They mentioned game being mean but that`s not the game - that`s definetely them)))

It's definitely the game. You have to screw over someone and everyone to get ahead in this.

Zee scorched the whole second card. Mike only scorched correctly the last card during the round they brought it up and "corrected" it. That would have changed things.

Mushrooms, herbs and crystals... this is a game open for drug jokes.

Yet, waiting for a (honest) review...

As opposed to our other kind of reviews? :)

@@thedicetower he's talking about the Dicehonest Tower Reviews channel with reviews like: Why no one has ever made a better game than Monopoly! and: How to introduce dice into your games to give it the luck driven mechanic we all crave.

Frankly you can watch the playthrough and decide if you like what you see or not if you're really trying to sort out if it's for you or not. Inserting "(honest)" makes your comment sound like you have come to some conclusion already about the game and are disappointed in the reviews you've seen - so it assumed them to be dishonest. And if you have already decided how you feel about the game, what's so important about seeing a review? I have no idea if you intended it or not, but your insertion of "(honest)" puts into question why a review is important - especially since the content you are writing on is a full playthrough of the game. Rather than the typical request for information about a game that most review requests are, it suggests you're asking to find a review that agrees with your opinion of the game rather than those that disagrees that are implied as dishonest with the unnecessary insertion of "(honest)".

@@thedicetower Tom is one of my favorite reviewers... BUT - From time to time I do get disappointed of his review, after get experience with the game he recommended on. The last example is 'Forgotten Waters'. He was SO passionate and show such an enthusiasm - that I trust him blindly. I still hope that my first impression (after a single scenario) will change with more games, and yet, I'm kind of shocking that Tom didn't say a single word about the combats in this game... Which are... SO FAR... quite a Meh. Yes, the story is aewsome, the characters are great, the interaction is cool, but HOW... - As the gamer that he is - who like combats so much - HOW could he said NOTHING about the lame combat encounters? Now - AGAIN: maybe it is just a first impression, BUT nevertheless - EVEN if it is only exists in the first scenario (and I tend to believe it's not) The unexciting combat events DO exist! and the fact is that TOM SAID NOTHING ABOUT THEM in his review! He didn't mention those with a single sentence! So... ok... I'm not 100% sure that honesty got anything to do with it... And yet, my feeling or intuition is that this kind of information was A MUST INCLUDED piece of information in a truly FULLY-HONEST review. That is only my individual feeling obviously..

@@ryanbrown9102 Eh, I liked the combat. It's just like every other part of the game, enjoyable! It's still one of my favorite games.

This is meant as constructive criticism and not a personal attack. I can’t watch a full play through with you guys because I find it really distracting from the game when you are continually talking over each other in an effort to say something funny or witty. Just let the gameplay be the main entertainment. Yes, I want to hear some of your jokes, but after a while it feels like all three of you are trying to fill every moment of the video with your voice. It becomes too much.

The jokes and banter is what makes the Dice Tower interesting
@0riananne03 жыл бұрын
I'm the opposite. I find it really hard to watch other play throughs not by the dice tower because the banter is what makes it engaging enough to keep watching.
