The one I love from Button Shy Games is Twin Stars Adventure Series (I own both), although it is a pure solo game, so you have to be ready for it.

Totally agree. After this review and seeing it again mentioned in Tom's top 100 I broke down and ordered it from Button Shy. It is an excellent and highly variable puzzle that's perfect for a quick game while traveling (or not traveling!)

It's a great little pocket game. And it was $10 at the time I got it. A very fun game solo wise like you would play solitaire with a deck of cards.

Rules point: I believe you are also not allowed to completely cover one card with another. Tom says here that diagonal is the only exception to placement.

Ok ONE more comment. The math person in me couldn’t let it go, so forgive me. But I believe you’d divide by 3!, or 6, rather than just 3. Since the order doesn’t matter, we care about possible combinations, not permutations 👍. Much love Tom!

Nice to see you branching into the world of solo gaming, Tom! Maybe Zee has been on to something after all...😉 Also, I have Circle the Wagons, Handsome, Tussie Mussie, and I think I will add this now. The theme turned me off from backing it originally, but after this review I will have to pick it up. I used to own Universal Rule, Pentaquark, Twin Stars, and Avignon: Clash of Popes...none of those resonated with me though. I’m curious as to how Ahead in the Clouds plays, as I almost backed that one and Antimony.

I thought the base scoring, “blocks”, had to be in well....a block of four in order to count. Tom just counted the largest connected color which I believe is wrong.

See, the reason why your not a huge fan of these wallet games is so obvious. They only have 18 cards each, so doing the component drop looks very boring.
