I played it at Origins. I can't agree Sam, I think grown-ups would like this too. There is some thinking involved and good for an opener on a game night.

Hmm two attack the castle games in the same day. Don't you hate it when the game box art is more exciting looking than the actual game?

maybe im just stupid but your explanation is really confusing. do you combine the attack of the two monsters attacking a guard or is it one on one? sometimes you do it one way and sometimes you do it another way.

If you mean the last fight in the first round that's down to Sam's phrasing. When he said the guard was 9 and the monsters were "five and eight" he meant "five and three which makes eight". The second monster was a strength of three, not a strength of eight.

Still kind of miffed they switched out the cute anime people from Dungeon Guilds for these ugly monsters. If I can't get the original I might pick up this reskin/localised version though.
