There are a lot of things about Reagan that I don't like but he was someone I at least respected. He also did some things that would make a Republican cringe (raise taxes, some gun reform etc etc). Dick Cavett's show seemed like some of the most intellectual programming while also being entertaining as well. I really wish we could late night talk like this or even like Carson in his hey day. Nowadays it's vacuous rubbish.

How did Conservatives go from protecting Redwoods to "sweeping the forests" and de-listing national parks for oil exploration? I guess back in those days they at least made a pretense of caring about the environment.

Fox News radicalised Republican voters to the point where Republican politicians realised they can do virtually anything and never lose voter support, including taking away their own supporters' rights, as long as they continue to demonise the Dems and pledge to keep them out of power. Knowing this, they are able to bleed America dry and make billions in the process. Probably no stopping this train at this point.

In terms of finances, Reagan couldn't have afforded to be Governor on the $44,000 salary unless he hadn't sold his ranch prior to taking office, for which he made $2million (and probably lost half of that in taxes).

Couldn’t have afforded? In 1972, $44k was equal to about $275k in 2021. Not sure what your point is but I’m sure anyone could live on that amount.

Libs more concerned about popularity contest with their version of a U.S. President than someone who can actually do the damn job-LIKE DONALD J. TRUMP (who does not apologize for America being a great country for those who truly fit in a free market capitalistic society). Most Left Wing Obama’crats should probably move to Canada or Cuba or Kenya. Their cultural & ancestral DNA will never allow them to fit into a Constitutional-believing American society. Their DNA will allow them to always be victims & race-baiters, though.

Ooo another one of these idiots. Ok, 666, the Unholy Trinity, the mark of the beast, is a Hebrew prophecy. If you know anything of Hebrew culture then you would know that a Hebrew prophecy must by completed on Hebrew terms. Now, you are speculating that the number of letters in Reagan's name tells us that he must be one of the children of Satan, probably the Anti-Christ. Now, there is this thing called the gematria. Every Hebrew letter is assigned a numerical value, and this is how the numerical value of a word (or name) is found. Let's look at the name "Ronald Wilson Reagan" in Hebrew. רונלד ווילסון רייגן There it is. The first "resh" in Ronald alone has a gematrial value of 200. That throws out his first name. The first "vahv" in Wilson has a value of 6, but there are a lot more letters and numbers in that name. Again in the name Ronald we have another resh which is another 200. Altogether, his name has a much higher value than 666. Also, the prophecy is that the number will be tattooed on the forehead or hand. The Mark wil be somewhere on the forehead or hand of the people who worship the beast. I'd love to go into more detail about the beast and the mark and the followers, but this was about the numerical value of Reagan's name which does not add up.
