Raced against this SLBenfica today - I was one of two B drivers in an AS lobby - quali time quicker than him but he divebombed three of us from downtown at chicane at end of back straight on lap 1 - I caught him up quickly and at start of lap 3 was faster down start straight, was going around him, giving him space at T1 when he just deliberately turned left forcing me off the track…. He then drove like this for the whole race - dreadful, needs banning….

Yes and if you tell him in chat he is going to blame you. And then if you are unlucky and get into next lobby, he will actively try to ruin your race.

I've noticed this quite often in lower groups, if you get too close in the slipstream they'll simply brake 50m too early and that costs time plus a penalty and damage. But the colleague gets away with just a black eye

This is why I stopped online racing in gt7. When you're in B class it's 10 fold worse. To the point that you can't even focus on driving. You're constantly trying to out think dirty drivers. That's not fun. Nor does it really make you a better driver. This isn't demolition derby. Now I just qualify. Enter a race. See that I'm in the top 5 and exit. As long as I know I'm fast enough I don't care about the rest.

People like that are the worst, they will absolutely dive bomb or push people out and dirty block push others off track but if you unintentionally barely touch them they act like you are the dirty one when it was bc they were braking wrong or slow out of the corner. It's really crazy jn my USA 🇺🇸 lobbies. Im not that fast and mostly A DR sometimes high B depending on the combo. I literally lift to let clearly faster driver pass if they don't push me. Etiquette and sportsmanship don't really exist outside top split except for about 20% of us, get great battles with some and it's so refreshing, but the majority are like this or worse bc there's usually 2-3 guys in most USA 🇺🇸 lobbies that create complete chaos then the rest of us get mixed up in it so we end uo with a third to half the field making contact 😢 sometimes someone teaches them a lesson 🙀🙀😅

What they do is they have 3-4 really bad races, then qualify really well and have a couple clean ones to get their SR back up. Rinse and repeat…..

I think that Gran Turismo needs to employ one driver for each region to anonymously police from B to A+ and when he comes across one of these drivers who are this dirty. The driver gets reported and has to complete a driving standard course before they can race online again

Try racing in a C lobby with a S rating and get about 12 guys like this with B safety ratings in a field of 16 im about ready to quit I can’t move up when some jack wagon pushes me off at every turn every time to get to the top of C I get paired with B drivers with B safety ratings and I crash out of 3 or 4 races and go right back down to a middle C before getting paired with S drivers it’s garbage I’m sick of it

Ah I see you also met SLBenfica. A couple of months ago I ran into him into a few lobbies and we had huge beef. He just won't let you overtake, and if you did he will try to push you out. We exchanged some words on chat and his response proved he had a massive ego and thinks he some kind of Senna. Someone needs to report him to PD asap.

@@Goldie-TV nothing you’ve presented so far is a “fact” your conflating your opinion and expectations based on a lack of understanding. 1. There is a ranking system used to group players of similar skill. Meaning the racing is a lot closer and overtakes become harder since there isn’t a huge pace disparity. 2. The safe assumption is that you’re not simply going to outsmart your opponents in the top split because all of you high ranking players & for good reason. Now back to the point, Digit is bumping the guy infront of him because he’s slower through some of the sections, which again is normal because you’ll exchange strengths at different parts of the tracks. This is a very simplistic explanation but there is a lot more to take into account like BOP, Slipstream, driver/track acclimatisation… list goes on Lastly, the insinuation that Digit can’t race did make me laugh a little.

@jugulator6744 Tidgney has a friend at PD so he can send video clips directly to them for extremely dirty EU drivers, it's a privilege but Tidge gets that kinda respect as he should bc he's one of the best and cleanest drivers in the game. Us regular players have no option in the "report" menu for complaints about dirty drivers. 👊 good luck out there.

I get brake checks all the time. 😂 On corners, in straightaway, it doesn't matter. It's most of the reason I can't get an A rating.
