Coming from a guy that raced back 20 years ago. I was all motocross / arenacross. B rider. Now I’m back into riding. I wish I had learned this side of riding. It’s so much more technical in a lot ways.

I agree, but it's never too late to go with the technique

Thanks for the great tutorials, they have been a fantastic in getting technicalities right... Have you any basic ideas and techniques for rocky terrain? Especially with loose rocks?

Thank you for the video! I have one question: If I keep the foots as your demonstrate, how can I use rear break by right foot and speed control by the left?
@TheDirtbikeRider3 жыл бұрын
good point ! i keep my foots like that on uphills where is really rocky when you need more than just bike suspension. Also its important to move on bike, its easy to move your foot and reach for rear brake or shift the gears. Dont use this technique all the time, use it only when its possible and safe to use.

@@TheDirtbikeRider thank you! So it looks like I should learn the "move my foots" technic. I tried it and it's really difficult. I need to jump if I want to move both foots quickly or I need to move my weight to one side then to other if I can do this one by one. In both cases the position is not stable at all so I'm making the things worse in critical situations. Could you demonstrate how do you do this in both directions?

Great vid. What kind of clutch are you running (lever and master cylinder), almost looks like a Clake
@TheDirtbikeRider3 жыл бұрын
i use stock levers on my ktm 150 and all is stock. On sherco and ktm 250 tpi also cylnder was stock but i used flex levers from 24mx
@dalepurdon89483 жыл бұрын
@@TheDirtbikeRider Reason why Im looking at getting the one light Clake is because my finger needs to reach to far in order to grab the clutch lever (short fingers), and this tires me out. If I adjust my lever so that it is closer to the far and more easily reachable, then the clutch engagement point is not right (ie. when clutch lever is pulled in bike still wants to move forward). Clake allows one to set the clutch closer to the bar as well as maintain the correct engagement point. Do you have any other suggestions for short fingers like mine? (Clake is expensive but I cannot find an alternative solution)
