Regarding Cap MC's need to separate home from work, it has to do with all the obstacles, trials and struggles they go through. Since EVERYWHERE else is hell, is hard, is difficult, is almost a herculean task - they want at least their HOME to be the ONE place they have a reprieve from the tortures that life throws at them. When every single damn thing, even the things that you'd think should be easy, involve some sort of battle or fight, they absolutely NEED that one special place where they can finally take off their layers of armor and chain mail which is rubbing their skin raw.

I have my Mid-Heaven conjuncting my sun in Capricorn. My Cancer IC is just like you said : raised correctly thanks to my mother, who had to stay at home at the end of her life. But indeed, she gave me enough care and taught me the right values that I still have and keep in the present. I always felt the need to help others, even before I found out that I have Saturn in my 6th house (scorpio). As usual, all that you said is true. At least for me. Incredibly accurate, thank you! With my mid heaven in Capricorn, I've tried to have my office in my home and I cannot do it! My home has to be a sacred space where my work does not exist. I always wondered why everyone gets threatened by my work. (RN, Medical Intuitive, Healer, Montessori teacher, Spiritual and Nutritional Counselor, Psychic). Leo, moon in Cancer, Sagittarius rising. I make very little money right now because no one here knows the high quality of my work (I only work by word of mouth. Can't get myself to advertise! ) So I'm frustrated. When people attack because they're threatened by me (lots of jealousy and I never knew why??!) Or if I'm becoming well known, I retreat and hide in my home (to an extreme...very unbalanced amount of time...years). Cancer IC... had a terrible traumatic childhood. No love provided when I needed it, au contraire. No planets in my 4th house either, nor in my 10th. Only the NN in my 4th and south in my 10th... NN is in Leo, which makes me feel torn between home and career... learning to accept things as they are. I dream about having a stable nurturing family on my own, though... maybe someday it will happen with my NN in IC in cancer.
