With the first one it isn’t just two solid colors at a slight angle. The part right under the line is a stripe of white. That makes your brain mess up. But they make it seem like they’re both the same color and there’s no presence of any other color that that exact shade of gray

No. Because it is NOT only a mental effect that causes the green fake dot. It is also a physical afterimage caused by you eye's inability to see so much purple at one time.

I'm just guessing, but I think that since it said the Visual Cortex stictches the vision, but stitching it with a shade of green but not see the real thing, the color white. Knowing that the color white is actualy multi-colors of light.

its true! at 0:50 when he says place your finger there, your blocking the white in the middle but then look at the bottom where the light grey was from before and its actually dark grey like the top, this is because the grey is reflecting off of the white and the grey is on top

you know that black-block white-block puzzle at the beginning? ones black the others white; the white is grey because it has less light and the black is grey because it has more light. right at the beginning of the show, however, you get a view of the side; its a white and black block, not two grey blocks. you know that guy with the shadows? its green because of photons, not because of an illusion. if you block out the purple light, its still green. as for the pink dot, that's a cloaking device.
