I cannot believe how expensive jeans shorts are right now!! I was seeing most between $75-$300 which is madness!!!
The good news, is I'm showing you how to make them yourself for $0 -$5 Cant beat that :)
All you need are some thrifted jeans and a pair of scissors.
I'm warning you, this is highly addictive so I recommend thrifting at least 5 pairs so you can have some fun.
TIPS
-100% Cotton is the way to go if you want that classic, frayed look.
- Wide leg (in the thigh) is important.
If you aren't finding what you want, check out the men's section.
Wider leg is easier to find there.

I really enjoyed this DIY Orly, fantastic ideas for making cutoffs/shorts. I've been trying forever to cut a decent clean cut, or the frayed edges look to my shorts. Thank you for taking all the time you do to help us look out best. More summer DIY's for culottes, skorts, remember the red/blue handkerchief halter top, or the bleached blotted jeans/shorts. Perhaps bringing back some classic DIY's with some updates would be interesting and fun. 😊

These are really great ways to even freshen up a longer pair of denim capris or shorts. Catching up on some of your videos that I missed because of busy schedule. I did see the styling ideas and that brought me back here because I realized I had missed this video. I had thrifted some longer cargo shorts because I was going to cut them but feel in love with them as is once I got home and tried them on. So, my thrift store had a $.75 sale, and I went back to the men rack to grab up some short and will try them on to see about altering them.
