I am enjoying your development of this great little truck! Question: how wide (millimeters) between frame rails?
@TheDIYGuy9995 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The distance between the rails is 52.5mm, same as in WPL trucks

good video bro, ask, can the suspension of wpl c24 be occupied in the mn-90?
@TheDIYGuy9995 жыл бұрын
It may fit, but not without modifications on the mounting points

Oh wow thanks so much for giving me the link to this video, i tried finding this kind of video all over youtube i even searched in your channel but its my fault i didnt go through your videos slowly i guess. This is definitely much much better compared to the stiff stock shocks and your upgraded one. I feel like you can make this toy grade rc perform close to something like the tamiya cc01 in terms of suspensions if you find a spring that is a little bit more softer and maybe put some weights in the chasis to make the car react more realistically on uneven grounds. It'll definitely flex better too, but of course you will need to install some steel arms, drive shaft, axles to counter the weight of the chasis if you ever decide to put weights in it since even the stock version is already really top heavy. I really like this series of you turning this specific toy grade rc into something close to a hobby grade. Are you going to do more videos on this rc soon?

Good videos man. And very good job on upgrades.But I think the shocks must be, in some how, softer. When you crawling the frond wheels moves together up and down. And it's difficult to crawl. I think you can find the solution in this. I am waiting my order with the same rc car, and I will do all that you did. Keep going, ☺
@TheDIYGuy9994 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I made them softer in the meantime. See my other videos.

Should a cool vid might get one and compare to my TRX4. Is this one waterproof?
@TheDIYGuy9995 жыл бұрын
Thanks. It depends on the electronics. My DIY receiver is conformal coated, so it's splash proof

Nice as usual. What is the biggest battery that we can use in this RC? Do you think 2200mAh can fit?
@TheDIYGuy9995 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The space below the bonnet is not that big, 2200mAh will not fit. I'm using a 1100mAh 2S LiPo from a WLtoys A959, which provides a run time of about 1h / 1km
@abdulsalam9395 жыл бұрын
But can we put it above the chassis and not in the bonnet? Like some 1/10 usually put the battery.
@TheDIYGuy9995 жыл бұрын
There is about 15mm room between the motor and the interior. In my case, I have mounted the receiver there

What can I do to remove that one and put a bigger 370 on it? or how do I keep the engine from heating up what is the cause
@TheDIYGuy9994 жыл бұрын
Check all your axles for wiggle room. They have to spin freely
@javit93614 жыл бұрын
possibly they are the axles that are plastic I want to buy the metal ones but they are very expensive here in my country but my question is can I use 1/16 WPL metal axles they are cheaper than for 1/12
