Jennifer Medrano What you really need is Jesus Christ in your life. Drugs and other things cant help you overcome addiction. Only Jesus can truly help you and heal you. You're trying to cover something thats been hurting you inside by using drugs to mask the problem. What you really need is Jesus to heal your wounds and turn your life around. Ask Jesus to help you. He'll perform miracles in your life and he'll deliver you from addiction

Mandy says fuck yourself he was like this before she died, too. I'm sure the death affected him big time but it's not the reason he's where he is. he needs to focus on the before. i also wonder if they just did a basic drug panel or if they tested the levels of what's in his system to see if he's abusing it.

Ron M well didn't you just make an ass out of yourself. Although he is good looking that was not what my comment was based off of. I have been telling people for years who turn to drugs and alcohol and those who are over prescribed that abuse and addiction comes into play when they are using the drugs, which alcohol is one in my eyes as it impairs ability and is a toxin to your body, to mask their feelings and their problems. Your problems are still there once the high or drunkenness wears off. It is very refreshing to hear someone who is in the medical field and able to prescribe drugs come out and say it. I have seen way to many doctors just write a prescription. Humans are also meant to feel emotions. If you want to get on a deeper spiritual level, that is exactly what your soul comes here to experience. So your lesson with your comment would be not to assume everyone who comments on KZbin is shallow. 😉

I feel for Aaron. It seems like he has some mental health issues (anxiety, depression?) and could benefit from professional help and support to find the triggers and learn to manage them, but when he is talking to the doctors and and affirming what they are saying, it seems like lip service and something an addict would do just to placate them. Prescription meds are no joke and we see so many people in our society become addicts and die as a result of them, I really hope he gets the help he needs and can get healthy.

as the sister of an addict I can say that in my opinion he is definitely just telling them what they want to hear. I learned very quickly that an addict who is in the throws of their addiction will tell you anything to get you to "get off their back" about their addiction or to calm your worries about it. My sister, however, finally got help and has been clean for 4 years she has a beautiful 1year old little boy, a job in marketing and is doing really well. It's a daily struggle though she tells me and says it always will be but she developed the tools and coping skills to deal with her addiction head on. Even though she's a grown women she takes weekly drug tests at my parents home just for their piece of mind and doesn't mind doing it. I guess when your clean taking a drug test isn't a big deal :)

I'm a bigger fan of his brother Nick and Aaron made it clear he doesn't want/need Nick's help. Therefore, I'm on Nick's side on this one.

Today, November 2022, I just heard that Aaron Carter, unexpectantly passed away. He needed help and his own family, did not even care to help him. His death is still unknown but he was far too young and has so much more to give. No matter what other said about him, even his own family and siblings. I believe he only needed positive supports and the right people, not anyone in Los Angelas...or even his own family. He needed to grow in himself, who he was. He needed strong male, female and friend figures in life. Aaron needed to have faith far more and surround himself with people that are nothing like who he was around. He needed to move away from the Hollywood Life and everyone around him. My prayers are with you Aaron. He left behind a young son, Prince. My heart is saddened to hear this...Please know Aaron, you were far better than most of your family and you deserved happiness, love and joy. I pray that your son grows up knowing who you were and all you were. May God protect you in his arms, Aaron.

He is very good at manipulation. Hearing him speaking about his fishing, he's trying to calm the minds of the psychiatrist and the doctor, making it seem that it's not that big of a deal. The 'medications' he is on should be used only for acute, very serious pain like broken bones, and the Xanax only temporarily for at most a few days or a week at a time of great crisis, like your mother dying or the loss of something else.

I was a kid and listened to his music. Just randomly saw this on KZbin and kind of feel for the guy. A pretty bad anxiety too I'm not famous and all my immediate relatives are still living. I was on anti-anxiety meds but quickly found out that they really didn't help me at all. I kept taking them hoping they would work and just got depressed when they didn't. And then I started taking anti depression meds. It's so easy to get prescribed meds one after another like this. I had to quit cold turkey on everything. I'm not perfect but I feel much better. Distractions help you cope. The hardest part is digging inside your own mind figuring out why you feel so bad and until you do that you can't be happy.

I’m prescribed methadone (for 15 yrs) and Xanax (for 10 yrs) but I genuinely need both of them and am tolerant to both medications individually and when they are taken together as well. I have have PTSD and MS. I don’t abuse my medications, I get random pill counts and drug screens and always pass them. My two prescribing doctors are in monthly contact with one another to agree that I still need to continue with my regimen. People that abuse and mix these type of drugs and OD put a bad stigma on people like me who may sincerely need to be on 2 or 3 different controlled pharmaceuticals. I was told by my doctor that it is extremely rare for the prescribed patients to OD from the mixture of methadone and Xanax, statistics show that it is non prescribed addicts that are the ones dying from this and making it labeled as “lethal combination.” Thanks guys for the stigma.

I agree. Too much prejudice/ignorance/judgement in today's society, which is prevalent in this comment section. Notice his child-like demeanor, especially when he talks about his pups. Aaron was emotionally, mentally, & sexually abused by Lou Pearlman for many years, starting from a very young age, 9 or 10 I believe, which is what a his mentality currently is. If you watch some of his interviews now, he brags & boasts about nothing, like a spoiled little boy who wants so desperately nothing more than to be loved & noticed. It's also rumored that his brother Nick also sexually abused him & the mother allowed it. Just so sad. I am a survivor of childhood sexual trauma, as well as many many years of drug addiction, on & off homelessness, eating disorders, physical & sexual abuse as an adult, with complex PTSD as a direct result from my childhood trauma. Aaron reminds me of myself, if I had not seeked quality, professional help & started my journey towards healing. Aaron needs to get out of victim mentality & fight for his life, sanity, & inner freedom, & love himself enough to become a survivor

@@melissamissingchriscornell2513 sis I’m so proud of you 💪🏾👏🏾 and yes I agree there is so much going on there, but HE has to choose to start fighting and that willingness need to be met by the right support team 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I feel most of not all of us could us professional help to sort out childhood traumas. None of our parents were without trauma or short comes of their own and even those of us that grew up in loving , safe and supportive home may have a few issues to work out that prevent us from living our best lives. My childhood wasn’t perfect but I have more positive memories than negative and the negatives I at least consciously struggle with. I just started therapy for other reasons and it’s just so nice to talk through the way I think with someone outside of my situations

I educated myself by listening to a drug doer that done these drugs for 20 years that were just mentioned. He was a living hell. He just couldn't be trusted, caught him breaking into my house redhanded, always in and out of courthouses and mental hospitals, but I couldn't bare to see him being tormented and suffering so I got him off them. All he needed was love support. Now he's gone from a sickening skinny drug addict to a healthy fat dude, full time job, got a wife, kids and living a happy positive life. So there is always hope. Never give up Aaron.

That psychiatrist is completely right about going through your anxiety and learning to deal with it. I'd been taking a prescription for my anxiety for over a year and I realized it was making me worse. I was only getting depressed and turning into a different person. As soon as I stopped taking it, I started feeling better. I started thinking straight again. And now I might have days where I feel depressed or anxious, but it's never as bad as I felt when I was too drugged up to help myself and figure out how to combat my negative thinking. Some people that are more severe cases might need medicine to an extent just so they can function, but the ultimate goal should always be to eventually get off of it and be able to help yourself. Don't rely on pills. You will never get better that way. Talk your feelings out, reach out for help from those around you. In the long run that will make a real difference.

It's so easy to see he's an addict. The way he talks and the way he looks totally reveals it IMO, and many could not take him seriously when he's claiming he's totally drug-free... I kinda have a hard time believing he REALLY wants off the drugs. The way people that really want off behave is kinda quiet and determined - I don't see that he is determined. I wonder whether the psychiatrist sees the same thing. Now I'll have to go watch something else - it's too cringy watching someone lying so hard...
