In the past, I've had ferrets as pets and as they are in the same family as otters, there's a lot of similarities as to how they behave. It's the same clicking sounds, love of water, playing, etc. These two are so adorable and hope they stay safe and healthy in the wild.

Instead of people humanizing otters as pets, they could get a ferret then! itd just be a LOT... more work to keep them calm and stuff cause not only are they known for taking random objects and hiding them... They are the ultimate escape artists

I just love otters. Fun creatures, very entertaining. I love, even more, that Ollie and his girlfriend were raised to eventually go back out into the wild and be otters. I can't imagine having a baby otter, in my care, and not snuggling, cuddling, kissing and loving it to pieces! Great restraint from these rescuers. The otters are better for it in the long run. ~❣️

THANK YOU, wonderful, selfless, kind & loving hoo-mons, for the great work you do for these precious little ones. I know it's so hard to let them go... but wild deserves wild. If Creator had intended for them to be pets, we'd all have our pockets full of baby otters--wouldn't we??? It would really be expensive to keep buying clothes with bigger & bigger pockets--& new tubs every 3 months or so. Bless their dear hearts...our prayers are with them.
