Then someone just asked the girls if they watched the movie and then all of the boys began to explain how good the movie is... It was unreal, boys liking a movie like this. The first one, maybe because of the music, or because of the actors... the first Twilight is a masterpiece. A simple movie for simple things in life, passion and longing. Never again saw a movie that triggered all kinds of people like that...

Bella in this movie is so expressionless on the face but full of expressions as a whole....If anyone really feels the acting is dumb, it's just because they haven't seen themselves in the similar phase of life during college days... The peculiarity of the movie is that the story is unrealistic for a normal person but the scenes are shot so realistically that you get engrossed in it....More than the beauty of the actors and actresses the background, the scenes, the dialogues and the contextual acting which makes it attractive for repetitive watching....

Catherine Hardwicke nailed it with the anesthetics, and once they removed her, the movie lost its gothic feel. The blue tint, wet, rainy atmosphere is what left such a lasting impression on me. Also, how did the wardrobes get progressively worse with each movie? Their clothes looked well fitting and expensive in the first movie. Edward actually looks 17 here. He looks 45 in New Moon with that ugly suit
