As people have said, none of the guitar work is done by Dooo - its all John Silkie! Dooo and GBSN are doing all the vocals. Watch back the video again - their little characters light up whenever they are singing and go black and white when they are not. John's character is always in half light bc he's always playing the guitar in the background (except for the guitar solo in the middle, his character goes full light during that section).

If you like this, you should check out Dance Gavin Dance, either on your own time or on the channel. They have a VERY similar vibe. I'd personally recommend Strawberry's Wake or Headhunter ✌🏻 But seriously if I'd heard this and not known who it was, my first assumption would've been DGD.
