Cole should have experimented more on his instrumentals. Felt Boom-Bap across nearly the entire thing. Some of his lyrics were thought provoking, but at the same time some of his choruses/verses were so repetitive. Also wish it was darker and matched the beautiful album art (like Kanye did with MBDTF). Overall would give it a 6.5/10. He can do better.

Noel Zepeda People can never be pleased. He literally touched up on 3 massive points in the world right now in one album (drugs, politics, society). Not only did he do that, he also constructed it altogether to be linked with another. Majority of the links were related to drugs which was arguably the biggest takeaway from it. First half of the album is him using trap like methods to illustrate modern music but added in his personal lyrics on it to have it Cole branded. Second half is as truthful as it can get when referring to the 3 big points. It should be seen as a re awakening of the genre, honestly.
