I love this because I’ve always been heavy handed with my products with this is a dream come true LOL. When they say saturate each section with the mousse they really mean it so that each section is soapy. It didn’t turn out right at first. And if you have low porosity hair like me you need like five pumps and work it in your hair. Update: OMG The curl memory is not fake! When I did it an additional time it’s like your hair remembers the mousse and you don’t even use as much mousse to get it that saturated it turned out even better.

Ok, as I am watching this video/tutorial I think I have watched a TIK TOK of some sort of video explaining the correct way to do a wash and go with your products. I paused this video right at the time of 1:57 in the middle of the video. Again I was thinking of what you were saying about how to do a wash and go. Just apply the product, spray with water as much as you would like, smooth it and all of the shingling and pulling apart isn't necessary. Just putting the mousse on and spreading with hands and letting the curls clump on. Air dry or sit up under a hooded dryer or blow dry with a diffuser to get the scalp. A MUST TRY I LOVE YOU and I don't even know you. I'm GENX and I just really love the names of each of your products. I am a HIP HOP fan and I know what song that each products come from ♥I LOVE NEW YORK HIP HOP♥

Girl I am loving this product! My rod set lasted 3 days in Houston humidity before I felt the need to refresh. I just reset it dry using larger sections excited to see how it turns out. After watching this I am ready to wash and go! ❤️

I just did a wash and go with this mouse and did it exactly as shown in the tutorial. This is what I noticed: - it was a little time consuming to go piece by piece without mixing up sections. With my usual wash n gos, I divide my hair in four sections and style each section as a whole - the front and back of my hair are curled and crunched to the gods- in other words, I know they will have hold for days without frizz! These sections are 3b-3c. - the other sections, for example around the crown, did not have that same crunch and hold. If you like perfectly defined curls and have type 4 hair, this might not do it for you. HOWEVER, if you like volume over definition, this could be perfect! Overall, for how much I have to use to style my hair, the product is a little pricy. Nonetheless, I do appreciate a lightweight, fast drying, BLACKOWNED, black-woman-owned ONE PRODUCT styler for healthy hair ❤️👸🏾✨ Edit: my hair is VERY high density, thick, low porosity (never dyed), and ranges from about 3b/3c in the front and back to 4a at the crown/middle. My hair is bra strap length when completely stretched out.

My hair is type 4c and the Mousse Def foam has not worked for my hair. My curls with perm rods get frizzy within a day and look a mess. I will try it again though, but this time without a leave in conditioner.

The product is definitely the best I have used on my hair. I have tried repeatedly to get a mousse for something even close this and it has not happened until now and the results are awesome! No frizz and usually my hair is somewhat frizzy once product is applied and once completely dry it is horrible. Thank you for answering my prayers. I wish I new about this before now. First I bought the Mousse Def. I was real tempted to use a moisturizer under it cause my soul was like "this don't seem moisturizing". I applied the mousse, knew in my gut I was going to wake up with dry hair. I was right. Then I bought the gel, looked at it sideways cause I was still hurt over my dry wash and go. Sis.... the gel is extremely moisturizing. I slabbed on so much my hair is weight down to the floor chile! Now I'm like Maya why you playing with my heart lol! I haven't given up hope yet, I'm going to use then together for my next wash and go. I just won't use so much.
