I got hooked too, currently stuck between watching concrete pouring, exterior power washing, lawn mowing service, and drain unblocking videos. It all started with the channel Drain Addict, although I get annoyed with how weird he acts in his videos with the way he walks lol. It's his "thing" though, so more power to him, but it got me looking at other similar channels and I found this one! Much prefer this channel over Drain Addict. Not knocking Drain Addict though, he obviously is doing something right with his much higher sub count, we all just have our own preferences ;) If you havn't already seen similar channels...Check out Drain Addict! Other "working man" channels I'm currently hooked on are Victory Outdoor Services (currently my favorite), Partridge Exterior Cleaning, and Spencer Lawn Care. All great people and worth checking out!

Love your videos your drainage system is a lot different than ours ,I live in what was once a colony of GREAT BRITAIN a little island called Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada a great country to live and raise kids . In Newfoundland we still don’t lock our doors at night in the smaller towns and parts of the capital St.Johns . Our drainage system is completely different in that our pipes are larger and deeper that is and deeper because of the danger of freeze ups in winter . In the capital of St. John,s we have a city council who maintain our sewer system and storm drains . Maybe your fathers or grand fathers visited our city during the ww2 in the navy or Air Force . Gander was a stopping point for sending the bombers and fighter planes to Great Britain . Anyway boys we love your videos and keep up the good work , you got to admire a man who is not afraid to get his hands dirty .

looks like you guys in the UK do really good work. nice to see that you use a sanitary product to clean your area. I know there are many KZbin guys who do the drain clean or clearing. one of them is in Berlin Germany I watch him all the time. And of course, we watch the Australian guy with ratty good to know that you guys are doing excellent work I know the drains in the UK are a little bit different than my home country of Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. At my last place 25 years ago we (the residents) did a rather satisfying drain unblocking on our 6-house private drain. When we'd got it clear we found a pair of boxers sitting on the benching of one manhole. There was only one likely owner but they denied all knowledge.

Q: why are the drain lines backing up so much? Is it 1) increased food and terlit paper consumption since WW II, 2) thickness of terlit paper in the UK, 3) low flush terlits being added to homes and flats, 4) wipes being added in addition to terlit paper consumption, and/or the size of the lines added since WWII are too small for today?

Maybe you have already answered this but is there any reason you don't put coloured tape on the worm jetters, at 1 and 2 metres for example, to let you know when you are withdrawing them that you are getting close to the end?
@QueenAggyEst20253 жыл бұрын
It would certainly come in handy for some people however the more you do it the more you get a feel of how far youve gone and how close you are to inlet, aslong as you keep you head in the game. In some cases it will come in handy for example when your not using the jetting gun with the hose. 👍

Try keeping a boot tray in your van to lay your dirty glove, rods, etc. on until you can get them back to the shop and cleaned. Or consider a 5 gallon work bucket and put lid on it. Cut inside lid with 6 lines to create lid flaps on the top without cutting the edge which holds the lid on. Strap to inside of van. Fill partway daily with fresh disinfectant solution. You can stack the dirty end of poles and rods, as well as the hand part of the elbow glove into the bucket and the lid flaps will stabilize these while driving. Just rinse after getting back to shop and dispose of dirty solution into nearest manhole.

A suggestion you may find useful that pump unit your running if it was mounted of rubber bushings rather than straight to the bed of the van (like the vehicles engine is) the whole van wont act so much like an amplifier and even running a bigger silencer on the pump engine which is mounted under the van. Your noise levels would half and not annoy customers neighbours so much 😂 as a coachbuilder me and alot of my collegues have fitted out a fair few dalrod vans. I also helped to build thier 7.5 tonne camera survey vehicle. Loving the videos keep up the great work 👍
