It takes a mature person to admit their relationship with their parent does not dictate the other sibling’s relationships. I like that she change “our” to “my”. My sister was the golden child and cannot understand how my mom was abusive to me because we grew up in the same home. Always saying what “our experience” was and how I shouldn’t be hurt. This shows maturity right here and understanding that no 2 people can have the same experience

My adoptive mom was (to me) a Cruel, VICIOUS monster who had made my life a living Hell !! But she had doted on my brother ever since he was an Adorable Baby boy. He had a fooking Story Book life !! 💯🤨

I relate to Bella. Growing up my mother had favoritism with my sister always complimented her and called her beautiful made me feel ugly and like a total outcast hurt more even than what others would say about me which was also bad. I’ll just say it takes GREAT strength and a beautiful heart and soul to not let that affect your relationship with your sister and also continue to love your mother and build a relationship with her.

@@lexximartin6809her mother was also very ill and unwell. She deals with a neurological (BRAIN related) systemic illness. You can't expect perfection out of someone dealing with that struggle. Maybe she made mistakes, she doesn't have it easy give her some grace.

Would she be getting that kind of attention and praise if she had kept her natural face? Would she be this internationally famous top model and celeb? Obviously, no. And Bella knows that better than any of us. She would remember how people treated her pre-surgery - that is, nobody noticed, she was an ordinary person like any other average girl on the street.
